Normally i got over 4icp maturity per day before, but i got less than 1 icp maturity from yesterday. What happened?
4 ICP a day is really good. How many do you have staked? Also, in the hopes of providing more insight, when I look at the governance board https://dashboard.internetcomputer.org/governance, and I notice the APY goes down by .01%, My maturity also goes down by .01% but I only get like 0.42 ICP a day. I started staking almost two years ago and at the start I was getting 0.46 ICP a day.
Thanks for your feedback, i staked over 9000+ icp and the age over 3 years, but i only got 0.5icp per day from yesterdayā¦
That is definitley very strange. Are you following a neuron or manually voting?
Havenāt verified that this happened today, but voting rewards are only distributed if proposalsā voting periods end. If no voting periods end for 24+ hours then these rewards will be distributed only the next time a voting period ends and you will see no rewards for a moment, and then more than usual to ācompensateā
Thanks for reply, i understood that, i got 0.8 yesterday and 0.3 today(totally 1.1icp), but i got over 4 icp per day beforeā¦.
Itās indeed possible that some days donāt have a reward event since there are no proposals eligible for reward distribution that day, but if you are seeing a lower amount than other days, then itās more likely that you missed voting on some proposals.
I donāt mean to question your conclusion, but just curious how do you know your neuron ānever miss any proposalā? I donāt think there is a very straightforward way to conclude that (and I think this is an area to improve). Itās possible that you did configure following for all topics, but the neurons you follow might miss some proposals? If possible, it might be helpful if you share your following configuration.
Thanks for your reply, it makes sense, but i have another question, so it voted more, maturity is more? Or the maturity depends on the latest time i voted?
In short, for maximizing your voting rewards (given the same neuron configuration), you need to vote on every proposal, either manually or by delegation. More details can be found here
