Tendys sns after 3 years

Ok guys so tendies is going to do it. Here are the tokenomics:

176,000 governance tendys
98,000 go to treasury
17,600 tendys to dev neuron
60,400 tendys for the sns swap

After swap,

88,000 get sent allocated for swap for icrc1 tendys in a swap canister similar to how Dogmi and sneed performed their sns.

Leaving 10,000 in the treasury.

Tendies will request 1 Icp from the Launchpad and no neuron fund. We will register a couple dapps like TENDY.zone and some other stuff.

Thanks for all the support.

@Henry_Suso, you forgot to give control of your dapp’s canister

Yeah there’s a lot of dapps that could potentially be registered but I think for now between team and holders goals are:

Pass sns,

Pass Launchpad,

Configure and distribute 88,000 governance tokens from treasury into a swap canister so icrc1 TENDY holders can govern,

And then we can register TENDY.zone or dragonwizards.club or something

Here the formal review page thanks @rem.codes

A chicken tender on the internet computer.

Could you elaborate please?

Please provide a link to the repo so I can see what you’re decentralising. I believe a link to your init.yaml file is needed for the syndication period to start.

Thanks

Hi Lorimer

I don’t care about your weird metrics. We went live. Enjoy!

Could you also add the ā€˜SNS Launch Proposals’ tag to this thread?

Not sure if stil relevant, but :backhand_index_pointing_down:

Thanks @rem.codes. It’s important to be able to validated that the init.yaml hasn’t been modified inbetween the announcement and the launch proposal (as that invalidates the syndication period). In this case there was no syndication period, but assuming the proposer wanted to follow established standards for acceptable SNS proposals, how would a reviewer take a snapshot of the initialisation config to confirm it isn’t changed later? An init.yaml is very useful for this.

The tokenomics analyzer also expects an init.yaml file or an link to a git repo containing one.

Could you please move this to another thread? This is for tendys sns and active TENDY holders to ask questions.

Proposal 139382 Review | Lorimer :infinity:  - CO.DELTA ā–³

VOTE: NO

TLDR: This SNS launch doesn’t comply with established best practices put forward by DFINITY. Personally I think these are important, particularly the syndication period which was non-existent in this case.

There are no dapp canisters in this particular attempt. Related reading (prior attempt).

You may wish to follow the CO.DELTA known neuron if you found this analysis helpful.

CO.DELTA ā–³

We’re a verifiably decentralised collective who review IC deltas (changes applied by NNS proposals). We follow a common code:

  • Look: We observe the details and context of NNS proposals
  • Test: We test and verify the claims made by those proposals
  • Automate: We automate as much as possible by building increasingly sophisticated tools that streamline and strengthen the reviewal process.

Every vote cast by CO.DELTA is the result of consensus among diligent, skilled and experienced team members acting independently. The CO.DELTA neuron follows the vote of D-QUORUM on NNS topics that the CO.DELTA team does not handle directly. You can therefore follow CO.DELTA on all topics and rely on the highest quality of vote.

Originally there was a 2 week review period proposed by toolkit in which the proposal could be reviewed on toolkit itself before pushing forward the SNS proposal.

There might have been something unclear on the SNS creation flow which caused the proposal to go out immediately.

Regarding the analyzer, this is also present on the SNS review page on toolkit.

Tendies? Tendys? TENDY?

kinda telling when you can’t even spell your own token.

Unoriginal, recycled memecoin, who needs that?

It would be twofold:

following up on a lot of dancing around this over the years, and give holders a fun software suite to manage and govern.

as well as be a nimble defi environment. It’s hard to be nimble with a large dao like sneed or taco, tendies ticker tendy’s dao can nimbly work with ntns tooling and create some fun implementations. Perhaps the dao would want to set up a series of trading vectors attached to neurons? Maybe the dao would like to stake tokens and govern on the nns?

But we won’t know until it happens.

if you look at the tokenomics, it’s a relatively fair launch with the allocation to cover the 88,000 icrc1 tendies.

Also, you yourself don’t have to participate in the sns launchpad itself, just vote to move it along.

I realized I didn’t give this the proper review it deserves. Apologies @Henry_Suso I’m new at this. I’m not a granted reviewer but I’ll do my best. These may not be the current standards for review, but I think they’re as good as any.

:white_check_mark: No fake apartments that don’t exist.
:white_check_mark: No rental cars that don’t even feed money back to the token or use ICP.
:white_check_mark: No infinite canister spam clogging up subnets for non-existent users.
:white_check_mark: No neurons fund
:white_check_mark: A chicken tender on the internet computer.

Conclusion: Adopt.

No one needs to buy chicken tendies if they don’t want to. But this SNS is 100% honest about what it is. It’s Chicken Tendies on the IC, nothing more, nothing less. I’m more a burger guy myself. To each his own.

I motion 2nd. Of non grant reviewer accepting of proposal. Try hard or hardly try. Aim small miss small. El patriot Gibson. :poop: & giggles brought mainstream adoption to the internet. ARRR DOUBLE YOU WAZE brought the dot com bubble. Gamers waste time and money doing useless :poop: in a fake world. I dunno wtf TENDIES is… it dies hard or pumps hard. Depends on teddies community. Not some try hard fugazi tryna onboard jeetz tryna dump soon as they grt a chance….. maybe tendies community can so some magic and some whale with pull will multiply it to the moon for no other reason than cuz they’re bored.
