Announcing Tendies: A New SNS on the Internet Computer

Greetings, Internet Computer community!

We’re excited to introduce Tendies, a brand-new Service Nervous System (SNS) launching on the Internet Computer (ICP). Tendies is designed to be a community-owned, decentralized, and autonomous network, focused on fostering fun, engagement, and governance in a way that truly belongs to its users.

It seems that Tendy SNS could be a potential rug pull. Something to keep an eye on.

Well, we plan on using the same swap dapp that @icsneed and @Dogmi used.

We will not be issuing any new tokens, and we will be asking for 1 Icp minimum commitment. No rug, no scams, just tendies on the sns.

The information is pretty summier, could you please update the post and include at least;

  • how the old tendies can be swapped for SNS tendies
  • sns_init.yaml
  • clarification of the canisters

Thank you so much for your questions:

As for the yaml, I’m driving kinda making it as I go so I’ll post it later.

Token distro: tendies are currently in circulation, users will be able to 1:1 swap old tendies for new sns tendies.

Current liquidity managed by tendies core will be transferred to sneed dao ok64 defi cansiter.

We will run the swap dap for an indefinite period so users will always be able to swap.

There are 88,000 tendies, and 88,000 tendies will be sent to the swap dapp (not ready yet I’m driving)

Clarification of canisters:
The canisters which will be dao governed are

1 the tendies icrc canister
2 the dragon hypothecator (go dragginz)
3 the Bitcorn landing page dapp
4 the TENDY.zone page
5 idk maybe something else like rebob.fun but corntoshi controlls it and is ded

What do you mean sir? Tendies is an innovator on the internet computer and the team has worked with a number of tokens and dapps, building heavily on (to name a few)

And we have worked heavily with certain sns daos such as Dogmi and REDACTED

Tendys migrated from Dip20 to icrc1, and was instrumental in driving serious defi innovation.

Some updates:

Sns_init.yaml is being edited to reflect
80% sent to converter dapp
10% decentralization sale
5% TENDY dev team in 2 staked neurons
5% treasury

We will be using the @icsneed converter dapp

This will be the 3rd major swap event for tendies.

TENDY team has successfully migrated the canister a couple times:

-Dip20 > icrc1

  • a successful LBP where TENDYx tokens were swapped for icrc1 tendies
  • Archive canister upgrades (special thanks to windoge team

So the sns will be the last major change for tendies, and the hopes will be to build an active dao which can per sue inter-sns cooperation and help build experimental and successful systems for dao participants

Is this a joke, the same Tendies founder who did chicken noises in one chat group. The same person who spin up lot of tokens that went to 0, the same person who used DeepAI on its project and claimed that AI is built on ICP.
We need to remove people who drain ICP community, not reward them with more ICP.
Is this the same person?
