“Faster canister deployments”: tendys operates impulsively and pretty fast, thus tendys dao can develop and deploy cansiters a wee bit faster than blue chips like sneed or NTN.
You just want to use the sns framework/tooling for some fun community governance? All good
I dont see an issue. Let the guy use it. The chicken is harmless.
Let’s go my favourite chicken tendies
If the Tendys token isn’t currently a governance token, who has control of everything at the moment, the dev team? (you mentioned previously that it’s already decentralized, so I’m a little confused).
Could you clarify what proportion of the token supply is already owned by the dev team? This is important if these tokens are going to be swapped for governance tokens.
You won’t be able to make this assertion once (if) Tendys were to become decentralised.
You’ve referred to Tendys is several places synonymously with the dev team. That shouldn’t be the case if Tendys is already decentralized and it will no longer be the case if Tendys is to become decentralized.
I feel like your mincing words.
Tendys is an icrc1 token
Here’s a pie chart. Red is lp positions on icpswap. The rest are the holders.
Tendiestokenic profile on twitter in the past two years acted as enemy of ICP on many conversations on twitter - My impression is he is part of the group value extraction of ICP . I would stay away mile away from this endeavor and would vote against.
Could I trouble you for an answer @chikun?
i.e. whats to stop the dev team minting themselves more tokens in order to swap for more of the SNS governance tokens?
You can just look at the canister. What’s to stop dev team from just minting governance tokens?
Nothing. Morality?
Handing over the ICRCs canister to the sns dao would prevent this though. Also, we have no maturity or apy, so unlike other active sns daos which simply mint new governance tokens out of thin air, the supply will be fixed at 88,000 less burn fee.
Name the “value extraction”. TENDY token twitter intern works against the paid marketing shills who use bots to pump volume onto scam tokens.
Many examples there - but recent attack on Bobby O in conversation when there was open “fight” with Elrond - EGLD community is one of the examples where he acted against ICP ecosystem.
What is Elrond? What does “Bobby o” have anything to do with an sns for development of tendys projects and decentralization of dapps.
Ok so aaa used a link which used “ic0.ai”.
Tendies is completly unrelated to the aaa project.
