Given our hyper lean team, we’ve built a pretty solid dapp :slightly_smiling_face:. Generating revenue in crypto is tough, as far as I know, only a handful of projects on Solana and Ethereum have really achieved it.

Not much has changed over the past few years, the IC community remains as toxic as ever, if not worse. We went from Badlands to SWI, passing through Utopia, while the token continued to crash. Now, with Adam dismantling what little community we had left, there’s really not much hope for this ecosystem.
On a brighter note, the Seers dApp has improved quite a bit, congratulations!

Do you actual contribute to the IC or is placing negative comments your thing?

I understand you can’t agree on all but it’s getting kind of tiresome to read your personal vendetta against dragginz / borovan.

I have been here for 4 years:

  • Documentation has improved (Motoko)
  • Standards have emerged but still are not widely embraced - e.g. NFTs
  • NFT development went from excitement to disillusionment
  • Some excellent devs have exited or reduced partcipation
  • Condidentiality improvements are still illusive (vetKeys, TEE)
  • Composability is lacking (e.g. availability of useful consumable servces that can be integrated).
  • The tech is still good
  • AI seems to have drawn the focus
  • SNS DAOs have disappointed and products controlled by them are now seen as risky to leverage

To be fair, borovan has a personal vendetta with the whole eco and seems to be making himself quite clear through out these forums as well :person_shrugging:
