Anyway so the staking is not on the SNS? It is in a Dapp?
I dont know the ins and outs but that seems completely against the idea of transparency and trustlessness that the IC is all about.
If you have money in their Dapp, I recommend getting it out so you have your own tokens that you can utilise as you wish. I dont know what extra bonuses were promised but it seems a bit sketchy when you dont know where your own tokens are.

Unfortunately not (that’s what I originally hoped for) - I think it’s a separate lock (transfer to different address) of the token inside the app, SNS and NNS were not involved at all.
@wpb Wenzel, could you reupload the video with the sound higher. I’m trying to get your side of the story. I’m listening with full volume with my headphones and its hard to hear.

Are you referring to changes to the game or also changes to the governance? What changes have happened to SNS parameters and will they continue to change? What is your vision for the current BOOM neuron owners and what you would like to see them do with their neurons?
Are you saying they are the ones creating the current high volume of BOOM proposals? Are you sure it is Tommy? I heard he may have left the project a while ago.

So you transfer tokens in good faith with no co tract guranteeing returns or to get them back? Or it is an actual contract. Sorry im not understandibg how anyone would give tokena ti a rando address. Its a step up from the nigerian prince having cash flow issues narrative but that cant be the business model. I literally cannot sign up qith boom right now so am in the daek about all this. Also, no renaming the dao would not prevent you from signing up ( altjough previous name is restored anyway so litwrally no issues can be caused by this)
U are right but the investment wasn too high. In generell all tokens we earnd while playing games were on the boom website/wallet. The lock system for paticipating and elite staking thing came afterwards. But in genereal it was ALWAYS possible to transfer coins back into nns/oisy or icps. And also now every coin like diggy or frenzy was possible to transfer. Only the boom/mimic token isnt working and more (and i am 100% sure they did, because i did a transfer with boom some time ago) icrc2 on icps and while trying to transfer it says icrc1 error. No idea what that means… and what caused this problem, but setting the token back to boom didnt work (for me)
If the original developer hasn’t come forward yet to indicate that they don’t want you to take over the SNS, then I’m not sure there is even a war to win. I’d really love to know what the status of the takeover is. I have several BoomDAO neurons, both direct commitment and Neuron’s Fund commitment, so as a DAO member I’d like to know what the leadership team has planned (which I assume will be your and Adam).
At one point the dissolve delay was set to 5 year min and 8 year max when everyone was set to 2 years or less. I don’t want to make changes if the parameters are just going to keep changing. I would hate to be stuck at 8 years and the parameters are returned to 2 years max. When will you know the long term parameters that you want to use?
Also, I haven’t been part of Dragginz, so I have no idea what quality of proposals you submit. What can we expect? What do you want from the community? Do you just want everyone to follow the dev neuron and stack tokens or do you actually want to try to achieve decentralization? What is your vision for this SNS?
I don’t really have more knowledge about the tech solution, but all on ICP is a smart contract and BOOM code should be controlled by SNS proposals - in general, but for sure some parts can be off SNS or even off chain (even OC uses external provider for video calls) - I think, without proper code auditing - like every commit and change in every proposal, any SNS DAO can go ‘wild’ quickly and easily
If there are issues that are not obvious in the web console, ensure dev teams top-up their game canisters and the world canisters.
1T cycles should be more than enough. It used to fix most of the issues. If this doesn’t fix it then it might be an internal issue.
@borovan@Thyassa I just wanna point out - when renaming some DAOs/tokens, there might be already few 3rd parties (outside ICP) using it, so it might be good idea to keep that in mind (even if it should be done later), like:

Honestly during all the time i played those games over and over it was so obvious that the boom team never gave a single **** for their website. It was down every few weeks and it was the communities work to tell them over and over that there was a problem. Game devs became grats and all was so basic and ugly… and when there was this voting for games and another grants the most crappy games won, right before the time was over… there were thousands of players but only a few active members in discord… it felt like there were just “robots” playing crappy games for selling those minted tokens… and when there were no tokens just burn mechanism for the newest elementum game there was absolutely NO activity… all 100000 memebers stopped… and when the claiming came back, farmers came back… it always felt chep and fishy… and the price always dropped… but since this was the best (and only) plattform i believed… when adam came i gained hope for better times.. no idea what exactly happend, but (for) now we lost the game section on icp.
Is there a chance to make it better?
Coin rush & climb master are great devs (and are also “victims” of the bad boom team) i hope those who stole all the money get their punishment but i also want to focus on games for ic. Dragginz will take more time and we really could use some good games here… but.. is anyone interessted to rescue boom… or is it already dead…?
