Why Support Boom Evolving Into Mimic?

As I was the dev who made the world canister come true (the core of every game in the Boom Dao Platform) I learned everything that can be improved to eventually come up with my own architecture for gaming.

Games that implement web3 should not implement any pay to earn, nor staking, or buying NFTs for tears. Games that implement web3 technology should be simply fun and rewarding with real live value.

The design was solely focus on fully on-chain Unity WebGl games, but I wished it was more modulare, something that served as a extension/service and not as the core of the game, this would allow games such as Roblox which cannot be on-chain to still utilize on-chain mechanism, allowing more creators to onboard IC.

As I recently found a passion for Roblox development I’ve been preparing to design and launch my own none-on-chain games in Roblox platform, but I realized that maybe I could down the road develop an sdk that allow Roblox developer to interact with ICP.

Sadly, due to the fact that I am no longer getting paid for coding, I cannot give this 100% of my time as I need to make some money doing something else to survive here. But I will eventually release a public sdk for Roblox and hopefully you guys can extend this and turn this into something great!

Once I or someone else manage to make this come true, this would be a new era for ICP gaming with Roblox.

My vision which I hope to develop the sdk that allows any Roblox game to interact (an sdk that doesn’t depend of any DAO like Unity package used to do, becase 90% was designed to work solely with Boom Dao canisters) with any canister. And further down the road a system any dev team can deploy without the need of a DAO for users to bet on dev team game’s players based on their gaming performance, rewarding players by making the players get a small portion of the bet for performing well on the game.

To be clear, I won’t code this hoping to build a DAO for this. Let’s keep the NNS clean.
