dear mimic team. i got a question.
since the token got changed into the new mimic coin i am not able to transfer my staked boom coins back into my wallet. It says ICRC1 error. there is a 30 day delay for elite stakers so even if i were faster it wouldnt be possible fast enough for us stakers.
is this money already gone?

@storexxm FYI, I doubt that the Mimic team has knowledge about the internal BOOM staking (on BoomDAO Game Launcher - outside NNS), my guess is that best will be to get in touch with the BOOM guys who were working on the guilds and staking features (Hitesh…) and try to get more info for the problem and/or fix on their side, then eventually reach out to the Mimic team again with more details

Yeah, I also have a decent amount of BOOM staked to get the elite status and I wonder if it can be withdrawn/swapped to CLAY. Following this thread for updates.

I was Boom Dao (Plethora) Main and Solo Unity developer and designer and also contributed writing half of their Motoko architecture for Boom Dao.
My opinion about this is that changes always is good at some point. Developing for Boom and Plethora was a wild ride while it lasted. I wish the best for these new things to come for CLAY!

Out of curiosity… was there a plan to develop plethora into the multi-player game like it was… or was/is it finished..?

Hey @borovan @Thyassa do you still control the voting on BoomDAO? If so, would you please communicate why the token is named BOOM again? What problem are you trying to solve by reverting the name and how long do you please to leave it? Is there a link to your current plans? There are over 5000 neurons in this SNS and over 1000 investors. I’m sure a lot of people would like to know what is going on. It’s impossible to follow as an outsider. Any help you can provide would be appreciated.

To be completely open to everyone that has had good times playing on Boom, so far, all that @borovan has done is change the name on the DAO. There is nothing whatsoever that he has done that would cause any code to stop working or any games, guilds etc. to not function perfectly. If there are bugs and issues, then its the same bugs and issues that were there beforehand.
This whole thing has been very eye opening and it shows where there priority lies. Their games haven’t been updated, some aren’t working, tokens are stuck etc. for how long now? 6+ months I have heard. All that time they do nothing until someone gets sick of it and there is a chance their monthly paycheck will be interrupted.
How about fixing your project?
I only wish Tommy and Max put as much energy in developing Boom as they are in creating spam proposals…
If there is one thing I would throw millions of money into it would be to teach people the difference between lose and loose.
Lose - something is gone forever, I dropped my keys down the bottomless drain hole for example, I cant find my phone it is not where I expected it to be.
Loose - wahey! that bull is gonna trample us all, look at that newborn colt go!

This isn’t a dig at you personally, just a pet peeve.

I can’t say - I didn’t like the (internal) staking process, purpose and that kind of BOOM ecosystem tokenization so didn’t join it. But note that it’s very well possible that the problem is in the dApp directly and even could have been there since the beginning, as first we should ask:
- Was it ever working
- When did it stop working
- Do we know anyone (trustworthy) who has successfully unstaked
Just thinking… if the tokens were transferred during the stake event (from your wallet) somewhere else (like it happens with NFT’s) it can be now controlled by anyone 
, there are many options for what is the cause , so I’ll stay with my original suggestion to try to contact the BOOM devs (hopefully @Monkeycruise could help with that?)

The whole thing was set up as a scam and value extraction from the ecosystem. They lied, they stole, they got away with it. The IC doesn’t need that baggage.

Anyway so the staking is not on the SNS? It is in a Dapp?
I dont know the ins and outs but that seems completely against the idea of transparency and trustlessness that the IC is all about.
If you have money in their Dapp, I recommend getting it out so you have your own tokens that you can utilise as you wish. I dont know what extra bonuses were promised but it seems a bit sketchy when you dont know where your own tokens are.
