Good morning probably haven’t posted in the correct place so apologies if that’s the case, I am having an issue with SSL / Domain pointing a the correct URL.
I Have built a basic website using caffeine.ai which is being hosted on the IC , my domain is with Namecheap. All of my DNS settings are correct and have been confirmed multiple times that they are correct but when I enter my URL I am getting the Error 400 : Unknown Domain and after 4 days back and forward with both name cheap and caffeine.ai I have been recommended to post in here so that someone can manually verify my canister gateway registration .

I have also tried to somehow get all the assets for the website from caffeine.ai so that I can host it elsewhere (with domain name provider probably the most sensible route) but cannot seem to get any sense through caffeine and am just going round in circles so if this is a better option if anyone has any advise on how to go about this would be greatly appreciated.
Morning thank you for your reply, I’m not the smartest with all of this and this is my first real attempt using AI to create websites etc . Do I just copy and paste your reply into another topic ? I tried to include the URLs working with but the forum blocks me from posting them

If you get to the point where u have everything set up (youve verified your dns records are right, the configuration files are right and youre serving ic-domains file) let me know if youre not comfortable with the boundary node request part i can help u out thats easy.
I have checked my DNS settings using DNS checker , the .co.uk domain is pointing towards the caffeine URL . Im reading through the using custom domains troubleshooting on the IC website but I feel like I need a science degree. Would anyone be able to connect to my MacBook remotely and help me with this ? Apologies I’m seriously confused with all of this.
Ok you dont actually point it at the caffeine url. You need to point it at the canonical domain, which is the canister id. Again read the article on my site and follow it step by step, if you want it to work. I have been hosting sites on the ic for 2 years, i just connected a domain 2 days ago. I know what im talking about.

Thank you , I’m struggling to find my canister ID as caffeine won’t provide it, I’m only using a MacBook Pro and a iPad pro so I don’t have ability to hit F12 and can’t find how I can get hold of my canister ID. Apologies again for all the questions and appreciate your help
