Remove 32 Node Providers

Mate, why don’t you tag them? They might then actually read this nonsense thread. You can look up their forum names easily, like I did in your other thread, after which they ALL then replied.

Malicious node providers need to be removed, simple as that. :innocent:

Good morning, happy to answer any questions anyone may have regarding 43rd Big Idea Films. LLC - I am an Entrepreneur and a journeyman IT guy who believes in the mission of decentralized computing and the technology that DFINITY has developed. Not only by a modest investment in its infrastructure but also developing dApp’s that can showcase its capabilities. Bullish on the future and continuing to develop applications specific to the IC because why would I develop on anything else. Regards, John Harris PS. you can find me on LinkedIn, IMDB and here on the Forum.

Oh you are real. Sorry, I thought you were a front for a IC genesis investor who wants to gain power over the network, my bad.

borovan you have given no proof of anything other than old node providers are on list that has no nodes. At first they all got paid for running/setting up Nodes, thats why about 1-1.5mil tokens each was given and they sold tokens on Coinbase, where the hell you take that all are one person. Only reason to be braindead like you is if you have short position, i literally cant find another reason, unless you in MAGA cult, than there is no hope for you.

Show me a link on the Internet for any of those people where there’s at least a 1% chance they could be an actual node provider?

Do you realise that you’ve got a life coach from Singapore taking over 24 nodes now.

drain the swamp!

@borovan here are recent onboarding statements from earlier this year for each of the node providers that you have listed in the OP that have active nodes in subnets. Hopefully everyone will see this an reply to your concerns before you submit proposals to remove them as Node Providers.

Node Provider forum username ?
Hey @roald-av8 would you please provide the forum username for Richard Ma? I can’t seem to find him. The handover statement you and he signed indicates that he is the Director for Blockchain Development Labs. I wanted to give him a heads up that Adam is planning to submit a proposal to remove the Blockchain Development Labs principal ID from the Node Provider list. Hopefully Richard can comment. It might help if you could explain how you know him.

Sure, I can help you find the information by pointing you in the right direction. All Node Providers in your list own Gen-1 nodes. The work process for Gen-1 Node onboarding after 48 months can be found documented here. This work process requires that they all create two posts (in the two forum threads linked below) as well as provide signed self-declaration documents that are posted here on the internet computer wiki.

None of the Node Providers with Gen-1 nodes are currently receiving remuneration unless they have completed the steps in this work process. You can find all of them if you look, including which node providers transferred nodes to which node providers.

As mentioned previously, most of the Node Providers in your list are from the Genesis generation and had a special contract that used a different process.
The node machines that most of them were using were owned by DFINITY and the original contracts have expired, so DFINITY already collected the hardware in January, which is why most Node Providers you listed have 0 nodes in 0 subnets. The NPs that were Genesis and are still node providers today, which is why they have nodes in subnets today, have all followed the process described in the link above.

Also, as described here, the rewards for obsolete node types has already been set to 0 XDR, which means that even if a Node Provider is still in the list and either doesn’t have any nodes or hasn’t completed the new node provider onboarding process, they have not fallen through the cracks and are not receiving remuneration.

Now you are just making stuff up again. Maybe you don’t really want help after all.

Indeed, @Lorimer and I have some fundamental differences that make us a poor match within the same organization. He and I were on the same page the day he quit and I think he and I are both better off for it no matter who did the quitting or firing. He is doing very well with his new efforts CO.DELTA and I am hopeful that he continues making a difference advancing the decentralization of the internet computer. The more known neurons that are credible and reliable that we have, the higher probability that we achieve true decentralization.

I have no idea what you are talking about. Again, you are just making stuff up. I have proven credibility and transparency over and over and I’ve gone out of my way to be helpful to your plight without accepting the false accusations that I know you are making based on weak evidence. Go do your research and come back to us with something substantial.

Can you remind me who has ultimate control over the CodeGov and Synapse neurons? If there was some huge schism within the community and 50% were defecting to another side, would you have the power to override their vote?

Can you show us a selfie with today’s newspaper?, and then we can start talking about the intricacies of hosting part of a bleeding-edge decentralised network.

BLP22 again. Only part of my post was delivered. Sorry. Let’s try again.

Hello ICP Community. I am BLP22. I currently own 14 nodes supporting the ICP network. I am a small business owner in the IT space, and I certainly have no link to or affiliation with “the megawhale genesis” as stated by Borovan. I am not sure where that came from. I am a huge proponent of ICP, and I fully support decentralized compute, the Web3 mission, and all that ICP has accomplished and is working to accomplish to help our community deliver a better and safer compute experience and compute products.

You can see my profile on LinkedIn here https://www.linkedin.com/in/brian-porter-41937a1/.

I am just a hard working telecom infrastructure guy trying to support my family and a transition to Web3 through ICP’s success. I hope this helps clarify my position and motive which is …. let’s keep going forward to help the ICP community meet their goals and prosper!

Nobody has to send selfies or whatever else to indulge your conspiracy theories. It is upon you to provide actual evidence of wrongdoing rather than just slander and unsubstantiated claims. You haven’t even done the basic research as is clear from above.

Anything asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence.
