For the last 6 days I have not received voting rewards. I know of at least 2 others that haven’t received rewards. We are all up to date with confirming followees. Has something changed with voting and following???

This is the 4th day for me…technically I’ve been receiving rewards .02-.09 when they should be over 1.5/day. I would like clarity on the possibility canceling out votes by following too many neurons. Incorrect NNS reward - #10 by crow

Hi both,
nothing fundamental has changes with how following works, except for the periodic confirmation which you seem to be aware of.
A few points to check:
- Which neurons do you follow on each of the topics? Are all of these neurons always voting?
You can read the detailed following rules here under “Following rules”. Note especially the warning box:
"Your neuron will cast a vote when there are enough followee votes to make a decision whether it is a ADOPT or REJECT. For example, if you follow 10 neurons on a topic:
- Your neuron only votes to adopt if at least 6 out of the 10 neurons vote to adopt.
- Your neuron only votes to reject a proposal if at least 5 out of the 10 reject the proposal.
- If less than 5 neurons (out of your 10 followed) vote at all, your neuron will not cast any vote."

Following up on this and related to 1: if you have been following the “Internet Computer Association” neuron, note that this neuron might not be voting anymore.

I appreciate the follow up. Based on your answers I concluded that it was one of the 3 neurons I followed quit voting. So if one of the other 2 abstained or had a conflicting vote it counted as a no vote.

This doesn’t make any sense for me. I initiated 970 ICP at 14.5% APY (6 years) with auto stake maturity and have been following the select voting delegation since day 1 (see screenshots). I was receiving .33 ICP every day/every couple days and now it seems to have completely stopped. Such an undelivered project that I regret locking this shit up. There is absolutely no shot of getting anything remotely close to 588 ICP. At this rate, I’d be lucky to fucking hit 300 ICP.. Am I going to get my reward or what..

No, this should not matter.
Your ballot is either cast by following or by direct voting - whatever comes first casts the vote and it will not be overwritten. If your followees vote in the opposite way then:
- either you voted first, and it doesn’t matter what the followees vote (no vote will be cast to those who already have a ballot registered)
- the followees vote first and this casts a vote for you - in this case you cannot vote manually anymore (so there is no way for you to turn the vote either).

Thanks for answering! I only follow Jerry Banfield and he voted 100%, so im surprised at the lower earnings these two dates.

It takes 3 days generally for a proposal to finish voting.
So if you just fixed your following you may not receive rewards for a couple days.
Understand your frustrations, hope you will continue to check daily and stay on top of this issue. Active participance is the best way to ensure you receive rewards.
