I use proposals and follow neurons for private proposals to manage a set of dedicated neurons. Today when I went to run scripts to pull Maturity from those neurons there were a bunch of changes. First a type had changed from text to opt text for the title field. Why? Second, I got an error that the URL had to point to the forums. This is the most frustrating thing about this…you can already do this! But dfinity won’t add back the functionality into the NNS UI. It is extraordinarily frustrating. You can give a charity, or anyone really, control of your neuron. If this is an 8-year staked neuron, there isn’t anything evil that they can do to you…you maintain control and can kick them off anytime you want. Community fund | Revised design proposal

People can follow ICDevs on the manage neuron topic. Every time the maturity gets >1 ICP we spawn the maturity to a new neuron that ICDevs owns, then we dissolve it. I haven’t looked at the underpinnings of this yet to see if we could use Maturity instead of a spawned neuron(Can you split your neuron into one that holds all the maturity and one that doesn’t?
