ICPEx Next-Gen DEX System Rebuild Announcement (Community Beta Launch)
Since the launch of SNS, we’ve encountered many challenges and controversies—but we’ve never wavered from our original mission.
We firmly believe that products speak louder than promises, and this is how we prove that ICPEx is one of the most capable and efficient development teams in the Internet Computer ecosystem.
In just one month, the ICPEx team has rebuilt its decentralized exchange from the ground up, delivering a high-performance system with significantly improved architecture and execution efficiency.
We have overhauled the previous architecture, rebuilding both the core canister system and frontend framework from scratch to deliver a brand-new high-performance DEX.

Funds can be transferred freely between wallet modes. One-click UI switching enhances the user experience.

Supports matching across different token pairs, significantly improving liquidity utilization.
Atomic Transaction Mechanism (MEV-Proof)
All trades are atomic, completely eliminating frontrunning and MEV attack risks at the protocol level.
Built-in Flash Loan Support
Enables unsecured arbitrage strategies, offering more flexibility for advanced users.
Global Lockdown Mechanism
In the event of upgrades or anomalies, all trading operations can be instantly paused, ensuring system-wide fund security.
High-Performance Archive System
All trades and system-critical operations are recorded in an independent Archive Canister, supporting high-throughput querying and long-term scalability.

Liquidity is currently minimal; token prices shown are external reference prices only.
We’ve preloaded small testing pools for ICP/ICX and CHAT/ICX, which are intended only for functionality testing. Custom token liquidity addition is not yet available.
This beta uses real tokens. Please test with small amounts only—any loss due to rollbacks must be assumed by the user.

I got normal swap time about 12 sec and fast somewhere 6-8 sec.
App feels little slow right now, if some optimization fixes, can be really good.
Cross DEX (coming soon) is what i really like. Swaprunner is cool, but has only 1 wallet login option.
I decided to give the this new test version a try.
First impression
The new UI look pretty good, love the color palette going for it. I can confirm that transaction speed for normal (non-custodial) mode is ~8 seconds but it takes almost 30 secs until the successful transaction confirmation modal finally shows up:
That caused me to lose the ICP I wanted to transfer in both cases which I assume ended up mid transfer in one of the dapp’s canisters that manages user transfers. Funds lost for the user makes this a critical issue.
Suggestions regarding mobile view
Make the navbar background either fully opaque or hide it when scrolling up/down as it doesn’t look good at all on OLED displays:
Today i got speed 14 sec on normal and 2-8 sec on fast.
Funds went to contract wallet, but when sending out, they did show on main wallet, but could not swap. I went back to fast (contract wallet), they where there, made swap and tokens somehow moved to main wallet
App update calls are slow too, i think its not easy to have super fast calls, than lot of cycles will be burnt.
