ICPEx Technical Architecture

Tokenomics

Token Utility

ICPEx, as a decentralized liquidity network, will focus its tokenomics on three main areas: transaction fee distribution, liquidity incentives, and community governance to ensure the long-term value and sustainable growth of the $ICX token.

Liquidity Incentives

  • LP Rewards
  • Smart Market Making Returns
  • Ecosystem Contribution Rewards

Token Governance

  • Decentralized Governance
  • Community Decision-Making
  • Governance Rewards

Token Value

Transaction Fee Value Distribution

  • A portion of transaction fees is burned, reducing the circulating supply and increasing token scarcity.
  • A portion of fees is used for token repurchase, supporting price stability and long-term growth.
  • Dynamic fee adjustment mechanism based on market conditions to ensure an optimal trading experience and sustainable ecosystem development.

As a decentralized exchange (DEX) on IC, ICPEx utilizes SNS governance for community-driven decentralized decision-making.

Anda framework is promising on the ICP, looking forward to more about your cooperation news!

Thank you for your attention, we will update the progress in time!

Doesn’t this distribution of VP at genesis mean that the dev team will be able to push any proposal they want through? The neurons fund neurons are not active governance participants (as far as I understand). Doesn’t this therefore mean that the dev team will have 59% of the effective (or active) VP, meaning they can push anything through by ‘standard majority decision’…

Yes, Neuron’s Fund participants are active governance participants. It’s the only thing they can control about the neurons they receive. They cannot dissolve, increase dissolve delay, spawn maturity, stake maturity, etc, but they can configure Followees, configure hotkeys, and they can vote.

I know from experience. I acquired too many Neuron’s Fund neurons before I realized this lack of control is likely going to be permanent.

Thanks Wenzel, I’ve never used an NF neuron, and I had the impression based on documentation (which I must have misunderstood) that the controller relationship prevented (or impeded) the ability to vote with them. Thanks for clarifying, I’ll cross out my comment above to avoid giving the wrong impression to any readers

I quickly compared the dappCanisters payload in your proposal with the canister IDs listed in your repo and noticed that a few are not present within the proposal.

So, I was wondereing, are these just leftovers, inactive canisters or tests, or are they part of the production setup? If they are in production, could you mention why they wouldn’t be included?

PS: Apologies in advance for my question if this is already explained somewhere!

Proposal: NNS Dapp

Backend repo: icpex_backend/canister_ids.json at main · ICPExLabs/icpex_backend · GitHub

Frontend repo: icpex-frontend/canister_ids.json at main · ICPExLabs/icpex-frontend · GitHub

Thank you for your question and for taking the time to review our proposal.

We have transferred all frontend and backend canisters related to the project:

  • 24gqi-uyaaa-aaaam-ab5gq-cai
  • 2vf3u-cqaaa-aaaam-ab5ha-cai
  • 2ackz-dyaaa-aaaam-ab5eq-cai
  • 2jbbf-vqaaa-aaaam-ab5fa-cai
  • gdz52-oaaaa-aaaam-ab7ea-cai

:one: Regarding the Backend Repo (icpex_backend/canister_ids.json):
The canisters icpl:2oahr-yiaaa-aaaam-ab5fq-cai and faucet:23uka-raaaa-aaaam-adijq-cai were set up specifically for our testing environment to provide test data. Since they are not part of the production setup, there was no need to include them in the transfer.

:two: Regarding the Frontend Repo (icpex-frontend/canister_ids.json):
The canister gdz52-oaaaa-aaaam-ab7ea-cai is our frontend canister and has already been transferred. The other canisters listed are either related to token standard integration or were used for development and debugging purposes.

Hope this clarifies things, and we appreciate your engagement with the proposal!

NNS Proposal to create an SNS named ‘ICPEx’

NO Voting Power 26’379’242
I wonder why so many no votes, is someone who dont like DEX competition to Kongswap and ICPSwap?
I personally like to see more Dex-es, ICPEx is building bot trading as i understand. This will help ecosystem a lot, more transactions, activity.
End goal must be growing ecosystem, burning ICP and locking it up more and more.

The token distribution is unreasonable and the swap speed is too slow

Thank you very much for your support and we hope to contribute to ICP!

Hello, thank you for your question.
Regarding swap speed, the ICPEX’s swap speed is similar with that of ICPSWAP and SONIC. In addition, we are now continuously improving and optimizing our system, such as adding AI technology to optimize the user experience, etc., exploring ways to increase efficiency and performance while maintaining security and decentralization.

We hope to leave your specific insights and support, which will help us continuously improve and refine!
