Ok so we can get rid of the Marc Johnson node provider and just keep Carbon Twelve?

We run a tight ship here, @snoopy

Hi All,

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, and a special thank you to @snoopy for finding that old forum post.

This is all correct. I was initially a node provider under my name, Marc Johnson, where I onboarded one node. Then, I set up a company, Carbon Twelve (C12), transferred my initial node to C12 and onboarded 7 more nodes.

At the time that I made these changes, I asked Sven (who is no longer with Dfinity) what should be done with the Marc Johnson Node Provider record. There was no clarity on that so the record remained on the IC wiki.

The Marc Johnson Node Provider record is no longer needed.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

No problems, we’re just doing a bit of spring cleaning!

When you’re looking for accountable network node providers it’s easier if you just trim all the legacy accounts that may not be active any more.

I was looking at the trimmed down spreadsheet, and Im thinking “I don’t know where to go next, i know most of these people are fairly legit”.

And that’s what we want right?
