I need some assistance with a token issue on the Internet Computer (ICP) Network Nervous System (NNS)

Hey everyone,
i had CTS tokens locked in a neuron on the NNS, but since the CTS token operations shut down, they’ve disappeared from my view in the NNS dapp. I can still log in with my Internet Identity, but the tokens aren’t showing up under my neurons.

Here’s the situation:

  • I staked these CTS tokens a while back (not sure of the exact date, but I can dig up records if needed).

  • They were locked with a dissolve delay, though I don’t recall the exact length.

  • Now that CTS operations have closed, I can’t see them, and I’m unsure how to unlock or recover them to convert yo icp.

Has anyone dealt with this before? Were CTS tokens migrated to something else, or are they stuck in a canister somewhere? I’m wondering if I need to interact with a specific canister ID manually or if they’re just gone for good. Any guidance on next steps—whether through the NNS interface, community support, or dev tools—would be hugely appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Hey Shmykie,

Unfortunately CTS (now ----) has gone through some changes in its parameters, which makes it completely unusable. You cannot create transactions or proposals anymore due to the high fees. We plan to propose its removal from the NNS dapp as these tokens and neurons no longer have any value, nor can they be used for governance.

On our SNS roadmap we have an item regarding sunsetting an SNS, which would allow an SNS community to vote to more gracefully wind down an SNS. This one was rather unfortunate. At this point, there isn’t anything you can do with your CTS holding, which cannot change as no SNS proposals can be created.

Hope this helps!
