I having trouble transferring ICP from the NNS Dapp

I can’t transfer my ICP from NNS Dapp to another wallet. I always get the error “Sorry, there was an error trying to execute the transaction.” Is there something wrong?

I make sure:

  • I have enough ICP to pay for gas
  • I entered the address correctly
  • My wallet target compatible with ICP

Please see the attached for more details:

Thanks, @peterparker. If the Dfinity team needs any pictures or videos to investigate the issue, please let me know.

Does the problem still persist iff you refresh the page, sign out, and sign back in?

Yes, sir. I tried clearing the cache, refreshing the page, and signing back in, but it didn’t work.

Have you tried a different ICP amount or a different wallet address?

yes, I tried with some different ICP (binance, plug, stoic) but it didn’t work. Although I have withdrawn to those wallets before. Not just ICP, I also can’t withdraw my CHAT token.

@chepreghy These are some of my steps to reproduce this issue; please see the attachment for more details.

As you can see, I sent a total of 1 ICP out of 6 ICP to my address (0c00af521d11710f5a9804e4d730f83a4ad11dc0c68d3f34908b91891c75205a), but it seems that the NNS returned an error saying ‘Insufficient Funds.’ Additionally, I have tried to stake more ICP in Neuron Staking, but it’s not working as expected. I hope Dfinity team will fix this issue ASAP for me. Thanks in advance.

I see multiple possible errors on that highlighted line. Are you sure it’s InsufficientFunds? Could you try setting a break point there and seeing the value of e as it happens?

Perhaps it’s TxCreatedInFuture or TxTooOld? Maybe your computer clock is off?

If you have a smartphone connected to your Internet Identity, you could try sending ICP with your phone as well.

@dskloet I’m not sure it’s InsufficientFunds. That is just my guess.

Sorry, but I don’t know how to debug in JavaScript.

How do I detect and fix it?

I’ll try it on mobile and let you know the update.

Maybe you can check if your computer’s time matches the time shown here? If you don’t want to click the link, just google “Time now”.

Great, I’ve changed my computer settings Time Zone to automatic, and it worked. Thanks so much! @chepreghy @dskloet
