ckBTC transaction success - BTC not sent

I need some help recovering BTC.

I sent BTC from my NNS wallet to a native BTC address. After 4 days of waiting the transaction is still in the “Sending” state and I dont know where the btc is now. The ckBTC transaction says completed but there is no transaction on the BTC blockchain corresponding to this transaction.

Here is the state the transaction is in on my NNS

The last time i tried to send BTC to this address it was blocked and reimbursed very quickly.

Is this a bug in the Reimbursment logic on the ckBTC canister.

Also if you check the btc blockchain for the desired address you will see that the last trx was a deposit of around 0.25 - that is because i sent the same amount to another wallet and then to that address because it had taken over 40 minutes at that point.

At the moment there are some stuck transactions (failed to send due to insufficient fee or other reasons) in the ckBTC minter, which will be retried every 24 hours.

This is visible on the ckBTC dashboard under the “Unconfirmed Change” section. Not all listed there are stuck, but some are. Unfortunately the detail info on these stuck transactions are missing, which is evident if the link to its block explorer page shows “Transaction not found”, likely because they were not picked up or removed from mempool. Such errors should resolve automatically after retries (if not successful, the minter will keep retry in another 24 hours).

It has been 4-5 days now. is there a limit to the number of retries, after which it would just refund the sender account?

I found the dashboard: https://mqygn-kiaaa-aaaar-qaadq-cai.raw.ic0.app/dashboard
Im guessing it is this transaction: mempool - Bitcoin Explorer

We are investigating whether there is a problem preventing the transaction to be re-send. Will keep you posted.
