Urgent Help Needed: 0.22 BTC to ckBTC Conversion Failed, Principal Not Credited

Hi, developers,

We’re active users on ICPSwap, but we encountered an issue where BTC failed to convert to ckBTC. From the block records, we can see that the BTC has already reached my ckBTC conversion account, but my Principal has not received the corresponding ckBTC. Could you please advise who I should contact to recover this ckBTC?

Update: The dev team seems to have identified the issue. It appears that the Bitcoin Checker Principal Canister (oltsj-fqaaa-aaaar-qal5q-cai) may have run out of cycles. We’ve already contacted the DFINITY dev team for assistance in resolving this, and we’ll provide you with an update soon.

I realized that you guys are doing an upgrade, a much bigger thing that looks like it will take many days or even weeks.

This is hard for us to accept as my problem is just ckBTC being stuck which limits a lot of our business.
So, is there a faster way to do this please? In 24 hours it can be released?

BTW:
I have top-up for this canister, but why can’t I update my ckBTC?

I believe this can typically be resolved within 24 hours, as the DFINITY dev team is working diligently to update.

@EdenCapital could you share the principal where you expect the ckBTC?

@EdenCapital I believe your BTC → ckBTC conversions are processed.

ckBTC is having some issues due to the removal of chainalysis KYT checks and replacing them with the new bitcoin checking canister that only checks OFAC sanctioned addresses, see more context here ckBTC and KYT Compliance - #517 by gregory-demay. So conversions are now not always working on the first attempt, which can cause delays. Dfinity is working on this problem.
