CATALYZE DAO are you a SWAMP TOO?

Its only 1 and a half year and you already spent huge amount of icp?

How can this remaining icp fuel your Dapp in the next two years?

No they’re great. They have to deal with the ICP price, which is just a symptom of the swamp taking over.

Thank you master . We hope they will be more responsive on all channels

This has to be the worst SNS of the lot, over $4 million spent and not a single product to show for it. The founder seems to spend more time tweeting vacuous ramblings and attending yacht parties than actually building anything. A perfect example of how biased the whole “drain the swamp” movement really is.

What is your whole assessment of the project?

Yacht parties? Why wasn’t I invited?

Quite baffling how they’ve managed to burn through so much money, have no users to show for it, and are still searching for a product. Perhaps @Johann_Catalyze or @rem.codes could enlighten us?

Wish I could help you but I was a contracted developer that was not involved in any of the financial descisions

You do come across as quite critical. I had expected a better response.

Catalyze was one of the first DAO’s to launch on the SNS while projects like Boom and Seers drained their treasuries right after launch, Catalyze kept everything and remained true to the community. I was involved as the lead developer for Catalyze from the start but was never involved in any financial decision making because I didn’t have to.

Things i do know where Catalyze spended funds one;

  • marketing
  • team expansion
  • tooling

But if you really want to know i would suggest checking out the treasury fund proposals.

And me being critical? Yes, after being in the eco since the launch of the IC, i’ve seen my fair share to be able to question certain things and form an opinion on that.

That said, you are commenting from your 15 days old account, did you actually try to bring any value to the IC ecosystem? Or you are just trolling with your negative comments on all these posts?

Does Catalyze belong to the swamp or not? Let’s not be hypocritical about it.

Asked and answered…they do not.

I have spoken to multiple teammates and they are 100% trying to do something with CTZ.

They have had an uphill battle since their roadmap overlapped with OC quite a bit and OpenChat has had Dfinity support since day 1.

Struggling to succeed <> SWAMP

If being part of the swamp means wasting over 400k ICP on developing a platform with only a dozen users as well as really poor UX then Catalyze DAO clearly qualifies. The only reason it gets a pass is because Adam aka @borovan is close friends with the Catalyze founder.

Catalyze Nobody uses it, just like DOLR.
