Alice sns dao manifesto

This projects makes for the majority of the revenue and cycle burn on icp. There is no need to have a pointless discussion about this for two weeks. Also how can you be a dfinity employee and have .eth at the end of your Twitter profile name. We all want Bob and Alice to succeed. Bob is one of the greatest things to happen to icp recently and dfinity advertises icps rising and deflationary metrics which is all because of Bob and the Bob community.
Expedite this process for Alice, this isn’t a new developer project where the team has never developed anything successful in their lives and can just milk the treasury funds, several SNSs are guilty of this. Expedite this process and don’t waste two weeks just because of policy requirements.
Make the exception for Alice and Bob.

Please see this here as well as there are key requirements to create an SNS:

These are also key issues with the SNS configuration file that would prevent an SNS from
even being able to launch.

That is terrible advice. No project should receive special privileges, as this is both unprofessional and unfair to others. Additionally, all projects should undergo timely screening, especially when many people are placing their trust in the safety of these initiatives. Imagine if something were to go wrong; it would be a significant setback for our entire ecosystem, particularly if the issue was easily detectable had we taken the time to conduct a thorough review. Just because someone has contributed positively to the community in the past does not make them immune to potentially harming it in the future. Failing to perform due diligence is precisely what leads to people getting rekt in this space, and you should be aware of that. We do not know these individuals completely; they could exploit your trust at any moment to engage in malicious activities. Lastly two weeks is not long at all lol… I know waiting sucks but when you are creating art it is gonna take time…

Maybe take your frustration elsewhere, “go outside and touch grass” as they say. She is one of the most reliable, prompt and helpful person here on the DEVELOPER forum with more knowledge about the internet computer that many of us will never comprehend. Just look at Activity before you start to question someone. She could have .sol or anything she wants for that matter she is one of the most trusted members of Dfinity.

It’s not terrible advice at all if the project is responsible for the majority of the revenue and cycle burn rates. All other SNS projects combined don’t even come close to the amount of revenue being made.
It makes no sense why we need to wait a full two weeks if the Bob team meets all of the other requirements. After they adjust the proposal and they manage to meet all other requirements, why do we need to sit here and discuss nothing for two weeks?
You already have had SNS projects that have gone wrong and they followed these requirements.

Makes no sense why a person who works for dfinity is supporting another project. Doesn’t look good for icp

How is a 2 week discussion have anything to do with the network and how it operates. You have kyle on twitter even stating he doesn’t even know why it’s two weeks would prefer only 1 week

Hi Jennifer,

  1. GitHub Repository
  2. Whitepaper: bob.fun introduces a novel cryptocurrency mining mechanism through proof of burn, combining Bitcoin’s consensus model with Dogecoin’s community-driven approach. The platform operates on the Internet Computer (ICP) blockchain, featuring an innovative launchpad at launchpad.bob.fun. ## Governance Structure The ALICE DAO governs all BOB-related infrastructure: - BOB ledger management - Mining operations - Launchpad administration - Canister control ### ALICE Token Distribution - 50% allocated to SNS Sale - 20% allocated to Robert - 15% allocated to BOB holders - 5% allocated to Launchpad users A notable feature of the launchpad is the 5% airdrop of bonded tokens to ALICE stakers. ## Treasury Management The DAO operates without a traditional treasury. Token minting powers are granted to the DAO as needed through governance. ## Development Roadmap ### Immediate Post-SNS Actions Transfer of control for: - BOB mothership - BOB ledger ### Strategic Development ALICE AI Trading Agent: - Manages ICP funds from SNS sale - Executes crypto investment strategies - Trading restricted to ICP, BOB, ALICE, and launchpad tokens ## Investment Strategy ALICE AI employs an aggressive investment approach with SNS sale proceeds. Trading capabilities include: - Token acquisition - Token liquidation - BOB mining operations - Token launches - ALICE burning - ALICE staking - Governance participation All strategic changes require community approval through proposal voting.
  3. Updates:
    a. The YAML file for the Bob canisters has been fixed.
    b. Token distribution is as follows: 60% to sale participants, 20% airdropped, and 20% reserved for the team.
  4. Alice AGI will have the option to purchase ALICE tokens if desired. Additionally, the DAO can mint more tokens if needed.

Let me know if you have any questions or need further clarification.

The proposal has to be in the forum for two weeks for community discussion.
No exceptions, @bobdotfun —guess you’re not the chosen one this time!

Do you have the code for the canister 7pail-xaaaa-aaaas-aabmq-cai? I am unable to find it at GitHub - bob-robert-ai/bob.

As stated here it’s DFINITY’s ledger.

Has DFINITY ever made an exception before?

It’s amusing that you mention other projects meeting these criteria have already failed, as it doesn’t support your point; rather, it suggests that we should likely delay further and carry out even more rigorous testing, in my opinion. The reality that we made mistakes in the past underscores our need to avoid taking shortcuts, lol…

Thank you for confirming that this is the BOB ledger.

This is the reason why any project you build will fail. You should bypass the requirements if you’re already making the eco X amount of money. You can set the threshold to 50%+ of the revenue which basically makes it impossible for any new upcoming irrelevant projects to bypass.
The next question you should ask is why has Bob succeeded and every SNS currently has pretty much failed apart from maybe openchat, icpswap, kong, and Dragginz from an investment pov.
The whole current SNS process needs to be redone because every project that goes SNS thinks as their investors as donators rather than figuring out how to actually make money.

Can always do it now for the project that is responsible for 80% of the revenue and the burn rate. No other SNS project comes even close to this.
