Yubico yubikey error

I recently configured a YubiKey as a Recovery Device on my Network Nervous System (NNS) account, but when I attempt to sign in using it, I receive the following error:
No valid credentials found for this key

Environment details
• YubiKey model: [YUBIKEY 5C NFC / 5Ci / 5 NFC …]
• Firmware version: [5.7.4]
• Device and OS: iPhone
• Browser: Safari (iOS [VERSION]) — also tested in private mode
• Security-related apps/extensions: [None / Internet Identity app vX.X / …]

Steps I’ve tried without success
1. I added the YubiKey as a Recovery Device through the NNS frontend — the registration was successful.
2. I confirmed that the YubiKey appears correctly listed under Recovery Devices.
3. Attempted to log in and encountered the error shown above.
4. Restarted both the iPhone and the YubiKey.
5. Tried using a different browser (e.g. Brave on iOS).
6. The YubiKey is brand new (received on [DATE]) and running the latest firmware.

Hi!

How do you try to log in with the Yubikey? If you added it as recovery device, you need to trigger a recovery flow:

If you want to use it to log in normally. I would suggest you remove it from the recovery device and instead add it as a normal Passkey.

I hope that helps,
