It’s been over a year since the completion of the ICRC-7 standard and it seems that there are no NFT Marketplaces supporting it.

Am I missing something?

Current Marketplaces (As listed on Dfinity docs)

This leaves us with 4 marketplaces that are active and working, and I don’t think either of these support ICRC-7 after all of the work done to bring it to life. I don’t know why the offline or incomplete marketplaces would be listed in the docs, but since they are, it feels like the list isn’t maintained and outdated, and there could definitely be other options out there, just overlooked.

but what else is being overlooked in the ICP ecosystem.

For now though, can someone please help me understand the full ICP NFT marketplace eco-system.

  • What is the overall NFT / NFT Marketplace sentiment at this point?
  • Are there any upcoming marketplaces?
  • What is the standard that you are using (if any)?

I’d really like to know.

The ICRC-7 (and ICRC-37) by themselves don’t cover all requirements for a common NFT collection. For that you’d also need a metadata standard which ICRC-97 intends to create, but this standard hasn’t been completed yet.

As far as I’m aware, some developers have already picked up ICRC-7 without standardized metadata in the meantime, also I’ve seen hybrid approaches where a collection supports both the ICRC and EXT standard.

I’ve implemented a ICRC + ERC mix as well. Beyond that, curious which marketplaces you use, how frequent?, and if you know of any that I did not list.

I’ve used the first 4 listed in your post, not that frequently as of late, besides Entrepot there’s also https://toniq.io which is a refresh of Entrepot if I remember correctly.

That’s right, just added Toniq. Overall though what are your thoughts on this. How do you feel about the ICP Nft ecosystem?
