1 why does this need an sns can’t you just make a dao without the sns?

Sneed dao is great, and the developer is very good, but it really cannot represent sns1. The symbolic significance of sns1 is irreplaceable

I suggest you take a look at the previous posts. Both I and several early community members of sns1 have suggested restarting sns1，A fully SNS, where everyone is a developer and a responsible party

No, I am not a developer, nor do I control sns1（ is controlled by nns.）, nor do I benefit from it. All tokens are sold decentralized. I just put forward this proposal (anyone can do it)

I suggest waiting for a month or two before proceeding.
The minimum amount of ICP to raise during the sale would need to be enough for ongoing cycles needs assuming conservative ICP price levels. Also, as mentioned, if the token has no utility then it at least needs a rewards inflow to incentivise staking.
Without this it isn’t a SNS launch I would support (particularly given that there would otherwise be nothing being decentralised).
As @Henry_Suso points out, there are already plenty of ways to form DAOs easily that do not involve tokens. If you want to get off the ground in the meantime I suggest starting there. CO DELTA is one example, and so is ALPHA-Vote.

No, codegov was never a DAO, it was fully controlled by Wenzel. CO.DELTA initially competed with CodeGov, and it is fully decentralised (it’s a real DAO). CodeGov is gone, and CO.DELTA is still here and has never had anything to do with Wenzel other than recognising it needed to deliver something better for the IC. No one is in control of CO.DELTA, and it consistently delivers high quality due diligence that the NNS depends on.
