Option to not receive staking rewards

I know this is a niche request, but often I would like an option not to receive rewards when staking low amounts of lower value tokens. The staking rewards create accounting data that is very time consuming to manage. And in my and many other peoples cases, actually the accountancy costs are greater than the rewards.
When you have thousands of lines of transactions on your account fees start to rack up. Also NNS projects are still hard to organise for accounts as well.
In review I would love to vote on some projects but have an option not to receive rewards for staked tokens.

Or a stacking threshold to obtain voting rewards?

Yep a staking threshold could work as well. I wonder if I’m alone in wanting this feature though?Thinking it could also be useful for non-profit organisations as well.

Or configuring the neuron to pass 100% of its maturity onto whichever neuron(s) it’s following (burning it if they’re not following anyone)? On the cards

That will probably still count as a taxable event. But I can see a system were you can pass on maturity to other and get some thing else in return being a good idea.

Not if the maturity never touched your neuron. Setting this to 100% is essentially forgoing your right to that maturity (like switching it off as an option). Also the accumulation of maturity isn’t a taxable event. It’s the disbursal of maturity which is.

The order of events and who does it is key, I think someone must do this for you, you can’t take the action yourself or its a disposal
