No Maturity Showing After 5 Days of Staking ICP

Hi everyone,

I’ve staked some ICP into a neuron and am not seeing any maturity accrue after about 5 days. Here are the details of my neuron:

  • ICP Staked: 125.22281607 ICP
  • Voting Power: 250.70
  • Dissolve Delay: 8 years
  • Age Bonus: +0%
  • Dissolve Delay Bonus: +100%
  • Maturity: 0
  • Neuron Age: 5 days, 20 hours

Despite having voted on proposals, my maturity remains at 0. I’ve ensured that:

  • My neuron is locked with an 8-year dissolve delay to maximize the dissolve delay bonus.
  • I’m following active neurons to ensure I’m voting on governance proposals.

Can anyone shed light on why I might not be seeing any maturity accrue yet? Is there something I might have overlooked, or is this normal for a neuron of this age? Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

I have a good bunch more ICP that I’d like to stake too. Just need to get over this concern to fully commit.

Thank you. I browsed a few posts and it’s probably a little too early to be concerned. I’ll stake more when it comes through. I’ll relax for a bit. Thanks for your reply.

I see it coming in now. After 11 days. What I didn’t appreciate is that it comes in once the proposal is closed.
