Adding to this thread that it would be great to be able to select the currency of display in the NNS app. Currently we can only see portfolio value in USD.
Inclusion in the roadmap is greatly appreciated. I look forward to implementation.
Has there been any progress on advancing this roadmap item - multi-lingual support for Internet Identity?
Is there a way to measure progress by looking at the design, analysis or implementation deliverables?
Haha, I wish there was only one problem we have to solve. Right now we’re focused on the migration of identities from II 1.0 to 2.0. Once this is done we can take a look at multi-language support.
Thank you Georgi. Multi-lingual support is important. I am looking forward to that component of Plexus being rolled out.
What is the timeline for multi-lingual support for Internet Identity? Will it be available in 2026. If so what is the plan and what quarter. Looking for French and Spanish localizations.
this is being worked on actively now! ![]()
I saw @sea-snake sharing a related PR recently ![]()
Spanish support should be in the next II release. Other languages coming in subsequent releases.
Any dates yet for when French will be supported? It seems such a shame that each time an opportunity to solve a problem with the Internet Computer Protocol in the public policy space surfaces it has to be deferred because the Identification and Authentication framework still does not support the languages of the local jurisdiction. It undermines the “world computer” moniker. The use of a language other than English is required in a large portion of the world.
I appreciate the work moving forward on the next release of II but am impatient because I can’t even bring ICP forward in a discussion.
