Why don’t we simply make it so that nobody can follow the dfinity neuron? This way everyone has to vote manually and viola… true decentralization…
Perhaps not immediately, but something to think about.
While good intentioned, I think that’s a terrible idea. Better to not vote than to cast an ill informed vote.
I believe that the decentralization you’re trying to achieve just takes time… Everyone following DFinity definitely creates an element of centralization, but overtime, just as anything else, as communities grow, diversity increases, differing ideas and interests increase.
You’re essentially trying to force something when you should just let it happen organically… Just look at what happened with the block wars and Bitcoin.
Heck look at Bitcoin vs DOGE… ultimately its all politics. If you can galvanize enough people to drop Bitcoin over DOGE, people will follow you (Elon Musk, lol).
