It’s probably easiest if you simply simulate your situation. If I put your situation in the simulator, I get ~210 Maturity at the end of dissolving if you auto-stake maturity
How is it possible that my Neuron shows a reward of 4.77 over a specific time, while the rewards calculator indicates I should receive around 11 tokens?
How is it possible that my Neuron shows a reward of 4.77 over a specific time, while the rewards calculator indicates I should receive around 11 tokens?
The calculator shows the rewards assuming you vote on every proposal. Best guess is that the followee setup you have means that your neuron doesn’t vote on ~half the proposals
As it says on the label, this will only vote on proposals that are not of topic Governance, and SNS/Neuron fund. And this will only vote if DFINITY actually votes. Maybe if you compare your neuron’s voting history against a list of all proposals you can find out on which proposals your neuron is not voting on?
More does not necessarily mean better. Your neuron votes if out of all the neurons you follow on the proposal’s topic either >=50% vote no or >50% vote yes. So in terms of rewards maximization it is better to follow few neurons that always vote instead of many neurons that occasionally vote
The rules are as I described above. It depends on how actively those neurons vote. I don’t follow the known neurons too closely, so I don’t feel comfortable making suggestions. And even if I knew them in depth I don’t think I should make suggestions while wearing the DFINITY Team label
CodeGov is a known neuron that is intentional about voting on every proposal for every topic by following people who are known to be credible and reliable contributors on their respective topics. You can find our manifesto and neuron configuration on our website linked below.
In order to maximize voting rewards, all you need to do is follow CodeGov on the following topics:
