Disappearing tokens

Icpswap.

i hope someone can help. Disappearing funds in ICPSwap. And no, I checked “info” “claim” and “swap” drop down menus. There is literally no easy way to see the blocks. What the point of all in chain? Is this one of your best dexes? Really?

It wouldn’t allow me to swap back, maybe liquidity. I could have waited except things were disappearing. After swap, BOB and DCD were nowhere to be found. Even in the tab that lists all the tokens except my funds were gone. Not info under info, liquidity, token claim. I restarted my computer. Nothing.

I chose the ICPswap walllet as it was easier to transfer money into Icp swap as it was in a drop down menu from the ICPswapmplatform and it didn’t seem that my internet identity was the best login since I tried to send $2 in tokens there and nothing showed up, so I guess it is only
For ICP and that why I tried your most popular swap and used its offficiak wallet.

Guess what else? I took down the seedphrase and wallet PW. Carefully. Meticulously. Yet, when going to access the wallet via the connect drop down when using ICO swap, it is not disconnected and ir seems o had to enter the seed phrase and Pw. I flipped offline and entered them. It was rejected. It was drafted and tested perfectly. MI tried again online and even with VPN turned off, rejected.

One tab at the time was still logged in on my iPad Pro, and I was starting to transfer my $800US out. ICPSwap feels shady as it didn’t work despite showing me my balances. I took photos. Three tokens disappeared after swap. I have photos of the amounts that were there and the message preventing me from swapping.

Furthermore, the king dex wallet didn’t have BOB, but automatically entered the address to my wallet so in a moment of poor judgement I clicked send. It seems they don’t allow this wallet to be added, so that was $100 lost which led me to ICPSwap.

If I can’t get my money back, I will honestly lose confidence in this Difinith project because ease and security of users are critical. Swapping on chain is almost useless if if you cannot see it in the block and it steals your money.

This feels like straight up theft as the tokens were never listed. I could only see them for a short time when accessing tha swap drop down menu.

I hop I covered all the details. This is a big issue. I am using an iPhone and many others will also. I only have a Mac. I can only take trouble shoots on these devices.

God I hope you have answers.
ICPSwap needs to be reported.

Ps. I started with $2k in Icp and have $1200 now, so J know the money is gone.

Give your Principal ID, than people can look if your tokens still there. Write short what you used and what you did.

Is it safe to give my principal identity open like this on the internet?

I do want to hear from more than one person that it is safe before I do that

Funds are safe but lose some privacy

I can see the transactions on the internet ID and they are just incoming ICP tokens that I later transferred to the ICPSWAP wallet. Once outgoing for 10ICP, but those I stored directly onto my ID. I took them off as I felt safer to have everything off until I understand this issue. My impression is that the main ICP identity account only holds ICP and not secondary tokens. This is why I used the wallet with ICPSwap in the first place.

It was a helpful question though as it does narrow down the issue to the ICP swap wallet. Unfortunately the same seedphrase and password I used to confirm during set up process is now rejected.

Because I am so sure I have the accurate seedphrase and password, Inhave to figure out what could cause the rejection of accurate words/

someone else made a comment in forums regarding the ICPswap seedphrase was rejected for them too and said this wallet has issues with Apple products. No concrete solution was offered that I understood. I am using all Apple products.

What do you think? What should my steps be to resolve this since I did not lose a seedphrase. Finding someone with a non-Apple computer to try and access seems logical except it will be a “new” device and possibly rejected. The other odd thing is that I was logged in on my internet ID when I last saw balances. Swap rejected.

I don’t think tokens are stored in the internet ID in this case and it doesn’t record swaps or transactions made with the ICP in just the list of transactions associated with the ID.

Is there still value on sharing the ID?

I did notice that for the token I could not swap out of it said CHAT with an SNS label that was tiny and I had not seen.

I read in an old message from 1 year ago that SNS tokens are not supported now. How is a new user supposed to support projects and know all these things.

Why is ICP swap even allowing these tokens to be swapped if they aren’t supported?

Why is this a main dex promoted nh ICP if they haven’t responded to even old messages with the same issues I’m having first with swap rejections. One could ask: how do we protect new users? This was a large sum.

Next: There is an issue with seedphrase rejection for the ICPswap wallet not the main ID. There are other commenters in Google search with this issue so I hope any readers doesn’t assume I am brand new to crypto and just sloppy. Plus, I am not the only one.

The Dfinity team needs to look into this project since they are trusted because they are connected to the ICP brand. The quality is just sub par to other dexes
