DFINITY DFX and Developer Tools Compatibility with Mac OS Tahoe 26.2

Dear DFINITY and Fellow Developers,

After some minor issues Mac OS Tahoe, the latest one from Apple is fairly stable and I am using it in a desktop Mac with no issues, it is in fact quite good, although I am not a fan of the UI update.

Still the new features are well worth the upgrade:

Is there any issue that has been reported regarding the Rust SDK, and DFX?

Are there any developers on the forum that have upgraded and all is fine, or is still better to wait a few additional months?

Your feedback would be most welcome.

Hi Joseph,

As an active ICP dev running macOS Tahoe since day one (multiple dfx versions, Rust + Motoko canisters daily): no issues at all with dfx or the Rust SDK. Everything builds, deploys, and runs smoothly.

Safe to upgrade now — enjoy the stability gains! :rocket:
