Can an SNS upgrade proposal contain a gzip wasm?

We are reaching the limit of our canister wasm size, can we point the WASM_PATH to a gzip of our canister wasm?

While I haven’t verified it by testing it in a local environment, I don’t see a reason why this wouldn’t work.
