Bitcoin Transaction Fees and KYT or Know Your Transaction

A while ago when the ckBTC feature was released by DFINITY they also included a process called Know Your Transaction or KYT.

This was supposed to be an additional check to be performed when the IC received Bitcoin, to make sure it was safe for use, and not part of an AML or Crime related list.

I do remember that there was a plan to remove this KYT step, and just want to confirm that this has already happened.

The KYT steps adds more time to transactions, and had a cost of 100 Satoshis.

Was it fully removed folks at DFINITY?
