Stop the press, the Dragginz Team & Friends are working on a NFT marketplace using Mimic.
We started with ICRC-7 and tried to rewrite it in Rust but I think we need to attack it from an alternate angle. Austin has put a lot of good work into ICRCs but we need to code the marketplace first and then work out the standards.
As we’re using mimic we have a SQLish database that we can query. This is where we are after 2 days of work!

We’re not really ready for standards, we’re just going to make the marketplace over the next few weeks then start contributing to the standards. Can’t design stuff like that in a vacuum.
This is super exciting, do you plan a migration path for EXT, or should we expect this to get siloed?
yeah absolutely. This new collection code will handle anything and be super flexible. Plus we’re going to have Oisy integration
