But, get a feedback from Developer Grant/Award Application that “we are temporarily closing the application window”?
when will the grant applications will be reopened?

There is a slight issue with this. DFINITY have 48% voting power, rendering the community vote ineffective

Not sure how you guys see Dfinity’s grant program anything else than it is. Their money their terms, nobody has nor should have any say in it. It’s like eg I decide to offer a grant from my maturity to someone, would I ask X,Y and Z what and how to do and who gets it ? Same goes the other way around.
Community fund was another thing and that to was optional opt in/out.

What about going the ICVC route? I know they haven’t funded many projects but if your ask is reasonable and your project is truly amazing then what do you have to lose?
There was a kickstarter called “Funded” but unfortunately it hasn’t funded much.
What about kickstarter itself?

They can always opt out to vote and leave it to the community, even if it is “their” money..
