Hello DFINITY team,
I previously prepared a Developer Grant application for the BUHDDA platform. I understand that the general Developer Grants Program is currently paused while DFINITY restructures the program, and I respect that application process.
Since preparing our earlier application, we have continued developing our Internet Computer integration and have made substantial technical progress.
Our current ICP-related work includes:
- Native ICP balance monitoring through the ICP Rosetta API
- User-specific ICP subaccount tracking
- Native ICP deposit detection
- Signed ICP ledger transfers
- ICP deposits and withdrawals
- ICP-to-BUHDDA and BUHDDA-to-ICP swap workflows
- Separated ICP accounts for deposits, withdrawals, swaps, and prediction payouts
- An operational hybrid prediction game supporting ICP
- A Motoko prediction-game canister prototype
- An experimental Dharma-to-Motoko source translator
- Research into Candid interoperability and canister deployment
- Original music and educational content intended to introduce broader communities to ICP
We want to describe the project accurately. Our current prediction experience is ICP-enabled and uses real ICP ledger transfers at the payout and withdrawal boundary. The fully canister-hosted Motoko version remains under development.
Similarly, our Dharma-to-Motoko translator currently supports a limited subset of Dharma. The complete compile, deploy, and Candid communication pipeline is part of our continued research.
I am writing to ask for guidance rather than attempting to bypass the paused application process.
Would BUHDDA potentially fit any currently active opportunity, such as the DeAI grant, a targeted RFP, technical collaboration, or another ICP ecosystem funding program?
If the general program is still closed, does DFINITY maintain an expression-of-interest list for projects that would like to be contacted when the restructured program opens?
We have an existing grant proposal that we can update with our latest architecture, milestones, completed integrations, technical limitations, and future deliverables. If appropriate, I would be glad to send either a one-page technical summary or the complete updated proposal for preliminary review.
We are also preparing a technical progress post for the DFINITY Developer Forum so that Motoko, Candid, ledger, and canister developers can review our direction and provide feedback.
Thank you for your time and for any guidance you can provide.
Best regards,
Founder, BUHDDA
