The OpenChat Botathon is well underway! We’re hosting a month-long Botathon (a hackathon… for bots!) in OpenChat, and putting up $50k in prize money for the best bots.
I’m looking for more projects to get in on the action, and also ideas for what projects you, the community, would love to see add a bot to the platform for enhanced functionality. I strongly believe that the interconnectedness of ICP DAPPs give them their strength, and the new OC bot platform is a brand new superglue that can tie everything together. Create a notification bot, an AI agent, a DFX dev tool, you’re only limited by your imagination and maybe canister storage limits if you get really ambitious.

221Bravo had 2-3 OpenChat bots at one point - we used them to deliver price alerts and also had one for monitoring all our canisters. IIRC I think 221Bravo built the first non-OC bot:trophy:
Not sure why your post got flagged? Someone’s clearly out to get you - remember the flack is normally the worst when you are over the target
The cycles burn rate is one challenge, we’re needing to do a fairly big re-design of some of our canisters. This is slow going as keeping devs interested/ involved in crypto at the moment is tough. More money would help.. but crypto prices don’t care if devs need paid
The Bitfinity token melting into nothing helped our finances a ton… not!
Bitfinity was set up to target me, the foundation and a few whales. They succeeded.
When they pivot that’s when I’m going to sue the absolute bejeezus out of them, in the Isle of Man, UK, Delaware, Nigeria and wherever the hell else they’ve incoporated.
