Adam asked the Kong team to make the market.
He says jump they say how high.

Oh no Adam! how dare you make a prediction. How dare you Fund the SNS with your own money and ask for accountability later. Outrageous.
Adam should be banished from ICP for cleaning the mess made by others. This is the thread for this discussion, right?
joined 23 hours ago it is impressive.
I think my joke was underrated
You must be a dad jon. To make a pun like that.
As a Dad its my responsibility!
Looks like a little bit more than just a prediction market prank on kong after all, more like bullying and insulting (scammy founder) a builder into closing. down his own project, a promising one imo.
More like using your vast voting power, also calling on others to follow you on top, to block a builder from access to their own DAO’s funds which they needed for BTC collateral (to actually scale, which was one of your accusations, 3 users, ironically).
Combined with the DDOS (or similar) attack that others mentioned here…

I think ur accusations of churns/pivots don’t apply, it’s normal in early stage blockchain.
I think the concept is strong. The combination of Bitcoin prediction markets with AI agents on ICP with multi-chain reach for data had great potential, like the prediction market itself had big data potential, a loss for the IC. Or rather has, since the dApp is still live under seers.app.
Yes it needs time to scale, but in parts for the yield-giving prediction market to become known in the BTC community in the first place, in parts because ICP is not as broadly adopted as it should be yet, and maybe for further scaling a mobile app is needed.
I think it’s time for @Leadership to call back Adam/borovan a bit and to maybe reach out to @marcio to reinstate his project. The project is great for ICP imo, and attacks and bullying like this can make a whole ecosystem implode (I was on borovan’s side when he told me he only did a prediction market for lolz to troll Marcio, but this, above, is outright bullying. I would have stepped away if the 800 pound Gorilla with all the voting power did that towards my project).
Overall, a promising project was killed for the ego of a whale. @Leadership should step in.
Hey ChauDoan, fair game. I’m no veteran here. I’m assessing by what I read here lately, I’m still fairly new to ICP, but very interested. (Started looking into and buying $SEER when I saw the BTC prediction markets).
Brilliant in several regards (prediction markets usage driver, prediction markets currently best representation of (opinion) truth, and super valuable data for AI/agents) especially when combined with an agent platform, that Seers / @marcio set out to build, too (I assume this plan is still current as DFINITY posted it still 20 days ago after the BTC prediction market release).
The idea of an agent platform with clones on several chains / environments is great, especially given the sort of “multi-chain” nature of ICP. With the unique data from prediction markets, incentivized through quasi BTC staking (yield-creating), yes, brilliant, just my 2 cents.
As said, I haven’t witnessed the full history of Seers live, but I read up as good as I could.
On the pivots that Borovan criticized, I read that they started with the plan for a social network alternative, and it’s smart they pivoted imo. Then with the plan for an agent platform, which is still in place, as far as I can see. Combined with a prediction market, it’s really smart. Maybe something Borovan didn’t see in his assessment.
On the concrete proposal above, the request for ca. 0.5 BTC in DAO treasury for a collateral to secure the BTC on their platform, I think it would have been necessary for trust, given that BTC investors and not the most pro-risk investors on this planet (rightfully so).
And to be fair, I’m not the only one seeing this vast takeover of voting power as an issue:
The way I understood it, @marcio stepped away from the DAO, not from Seers.App itself. Yes they deactivated the Twitter handle, which is kind of a shame, but the dapp itself is still live, and the X handle can be reactivated any time.
I can imagine that if balance of power in the SNS DAO is restored with the help of @Leadership, that he could return.
You can see how they were motivated to build, actively working on their platform:
Anyway, hoping for the best
Borovan’s misuse of ICP from Trax’ treasury is unfortunate but temporary—he will return it. However, the core issue is that his takeover of the SNS with his own money is completely legal. He bears the risk of losing money by doing so, and what matters most to me as an investor is recovering my losses, especially when I see my account being divided by 10 or 5.
I think hes mixing up with trax.
@ysyms I think it was an honest mistake @ChauDoan21165 has been very supportive here of borovans efforts.
Okay, I forgive him.
I still don‘t understand you confusing them, you mentioned seers 12 hours ago
