The SNS model doesn’t work. Teams launch a SNS, get a bunch of money afterwhich they steal it or pretend to work and get a salary.
I think Dfinity should have a grant arm. They should give money to ambitious known teams and they should hold these teams liable if something goes wrong with their project.
Grants should be given on completed work, not beforehand. That’s how construction companies get paid in real-estate. You do the job first, then you get paid.
If the team doesn’t have atleast a working prototype they get no grants. You never pay a lumpsum beforehand. You split the project in to milestones and pay the team after a milestone is completed.
