I think it is ironic he talks about a shadow cabal while being controlled by one.
If he was truly honest he would disclose this and present evidence with out bias. I am looking into gold dao rn and it seems adam at a minimum owns 13% vp there. Ill connect the dots on how bad it really is and post the evidence for the claims as I discover them.
All this talk strikes me as incredibly bizarre. You have this lady going around saying, ‘We want to take control of all these crappy DAOs, but don’t worry, we’ll eventually hand them back to the community, promise!’ It’s honestly hilarious.
So far the only people who I have seen support his takeover are people either gaining financially and or people who are secretly controlled by adam.
This should require them to post evidence while disclosing their incentive for this attack. For ntn it seems if he doesn’t go along with adam he runs the risk of losing his dao.
I participated in the Papaya Waterneuron sale BEFORE the disgusting end of the sale where the “angel investor” as was described to me came in and literally ruined the decentralization of the entire sale. I was expecting to get 10X as much Waterneuron for my investment as I did. It was a disgusting sale and I commented about it afterwards on another thread on the forum. I even said that you can expect a large drawdown on the price of Waterneuron and guess what happened? The price of Waterneuron went from 38 cents all the way down to 6 cents recently and still has not recovered!
The reply to me was "wouldn’t you rather have a small piece of a larger pie than a large piece of a smaller pie’?
Honestly, I would rather that we don’t allow huge whales to come in at the very last minute and screw the whole community of smaller investors like me over and screw up the decentralized aspect of the sale. Next time, what should have happened is this: Whale should be the first investor not the last! That way the community doesn’t get scammed over thinking they are going to get a bigger piece of the pie than they should have gotten! Honesty and transparency! A sale that goes down like Papaya should NEVER EVER go down like that again! I’m still disgusted and angry about the sale to be honest and I contributed quite a bit to that one. More than any other project on ICP actually.
Having said that, I would like to see Waterneuron do well going forward so all of this internal distrust and infighting isn’t helping the community other than pointing out problems with the SNS sales that need to be avoided going forward.

But it can be changed. There can be a new rule saying if you are planning to invest over X amount, then you must register in advance and that investment must be placed first and cannot be placed at the last minute last. In that way, smaller investors have a better idea as to the distribution in advance and can better decide if they want to participate or not. Papaya was run like a scam unfortunately imo even though yeah community members say “oh we warned everyone this could happen” but honestly they already knew the angel was coming in at the last minute to horde all the WTN for themselves as well as the majority of the voting power. It is a complete waste of time to vote on Waterneuron now esp. with their zillions of proposals since they make you vote on NNS proposals yet again and since you have 0 voting power in reality.
The arguments I have seen against this and for the takeover weve witnessed applies to this as well.
The free market allows for this activity and there is not much we can do unless we intend to control the free market.
Papaya sns was ran exactly like the sns launch pad. The only difference is there was no max or min investment required for the sale to be triggered.

To be accurate a majority staked their wtn from the sale. The one that tanked the price was adam when he market sold 217k wtn at market price in one sale.
I fully staked mine so you’re probably right but Adam must have been pissed about the whale too and I don’t blame him because he’s thinking if I don’t sell, that dude is going to make a fortune doing so.
You got one thing right. I am financially incentivized - yes - to protect the ICP against the suspected attack in which we all get diluted, except the perpetrators, and so are you.
Post evidence of this attack. Otherwise you’ve been exposed as a part of adams cabal to take over the ecosystem.
Look, you can defend adam all you want but the data shows the other whales locked their tokens while the only one to dump was adam. Here is the proof that adam dumped on all of our heads to initiate this witch hunt and try to blame others to gain control.

I was thinking “the whale” is DFINITY because Waterneuron is a threat to their voting power. But in any case, Waterneuron does need a large investment in order to work properly so I guess we should be very thankful that we still have some Angels investing in the IC.
What I would like to see is Adam laser focusing on his Dragginz dapp MMO and getting it out finally and that would help ICP more than all of this drama here, don’t you think?
We need killer dapps that bring us real users and real usage!
