i wanna tell you something suspicious about SONIC SNS.

dev were extracting and getting icp from treasury without liable or usable product.

one dev was selling aggressivly over 2m sonics token which he got it from his dev team allocation.

you gonna ask me how did you knewed thats wallet dev address ? im going to answers you the picture below shows address which received money through this address. and he used to create random wallets and dumps token so there is no trace.

when dev saw there is someone with great voting power rejecting proposal they sent 3m and 500k back to be locked to gain more power against that person (which i know who is) you can check it here in links:

they were and always be. the didnt even attract users to use their product even liquidity there only from sns tokens. they got 90k icp from treasury in one proposal for cex listings and marketing and still from year ago and still nothing they did.

What can we really do with DAOs that withdraw ICP from treasury but do NOT follow through and never deliver?
Are those enough grounds for DAO removal from SNS via a NNS vote?

All Sonic really does is create “visibility” of work while draining treasury with INSANE unmotivated proposals and goals that are never followed through.
There’s NO new open-source code procuded, both their new products are CLOSED source.

We should take the money out from both Bitfinity & Sonic. This is not acceptable.

Bitfinity and Sonic are not scams, they have working projects. Dfinity needs to do better to support and market its ecosystem and not just jump on AI hype train.

If you can find me smoking gun evidence that Sonic has stolen, cheated, embezzled, then I’m going to shut their SNS down and get people refunded. I just need it in a bit of a better format.

We want to clarify that the recent distributions made were maturity allocations and small allocations to some of our devs, ex devs and affiliates. These were not sales or dumps of team tokens. In fact, the Sonic team treasury remains with us.

It’s unfortunate that certain individuals are spreading misleading narratives aimed at damaging our credibility. This appears to be part of a coordinated attempt to create doubt around our work and intentions.

We firmly believe that such actions are not only harmful to Sonic but detrimental to the overall health within the ecosystem.

Completely wrong. We have no direct connection with the Bitfinity team**. Our only involvement was building a DEX for the Bitfinity (EVM) chain — an initiative we took based on the then market conditions and opportunity, even we got suggestions from dfinity team to go ahed with that. We have completed the development timely but they got delayed almost one year and finally ends up in a terrible launch.(check our discord announcement of you want to know the correct timelines)

It’s also important to note that we did not receive adequate support from the Bitfinity team during the development process, which further limited the potential of that project.

We’re always open to exploring healthier and more collaborative deals. However, to be completely transparent, our team was unaware of how this initiative came about — we simply came across a proposal and a forum post one day without any prior communication.

We do have some concerns and believe it would be beneficial for everyone involved if we could have an room for discussion. A proper conversation could help align interests and ensure a more positive outcome for all parties.
