Thats like asking Charles Manson and Jeffrey dahmer if they plan to kill again if they are released from jail. Lmao
The joker has a team of haters. They shall soon be afraid of the night. Batman is on the case.
Its smart to find best path to continue project even if going off SNS.
I got mail that Storacha is sunsetting its services. Its not releated to ICP, they did offer IPFS services. Interesting is that they join the Filecoin Foundation and build storage on there.
Mail content:
Dear Customer,
We have some important news: Storacha is sunsetting the upload, storage, and IPFS services you currently use through console.storacha.com, the Storacha SDKs, and the CLI.
Your IPFS links and CIDs don’t have to break — you can move your data to another IPFS pinning service, and everything will keep working. But you do need to act.
Here’s what you need to know about your data:
Key Dates
- Effective immediately: No new sign-ups.
- April 15, 2026: Uploads via the console, SDKs, and CLI will be disabled.
- May 1, 2026: Content will no longer be discoverable on the broader IPFS network. The w3s.link gateway will still provide access to your data.
- May 31, 2026: The Storacha gateways (w3s.link) shut down. Data will no longer be accessible through Storacha.
No charges to migrate or retrieve your data starting April 1.
We will not be charging for storage or egress from April 1 through May 31. You have the full transition period to migrate your data at no cost.
For personal help with your migration, reply to this email or reach out at support@storacha.network.
Migrate your data
If your data is already pinned or backed up elsewhere, you may not need to do anything.
If you do need to move data, your content remains accessible via the Storacha gateways through May 31.
If you need ongoing IPFS or Filecoin storage, here are some great options:
- Fil One offers S3-compatible object storage on Filecoin; the Storacha team will be working on Fil One
- Filecoin Onchain Cloud provides permissionless, onchain IPFS pinning and payments, part of the new Filecoin Web3 core.
By April 15, the Storacha technical team will provide specific migration tools to help you migrate your data to these tools, or to other IPFS pinning services.
For a fuller list of alternative services and more details, see our blog post.
If you are still uploading data, act before April 15.
Retrieve or migrate your existing data before May 31.
What’s next for Storacha?
The next phase of Storacha’s work begins today, as our team joins the Filecoin Foundation to build the next generation of storage on Filecoin. Storacha’s expertise and open source technology will accelerate development of the Filecoin ecosystem’s exciting new range of products for 2026, including Fil One, a new S3-compatible Filecoin storage product that provides a unified Filecoin client experience.
Thank you for your support: we hope to keep building with you on what comes next.
Best regards,
The Storacha Team
I would like to exit my position however my neurons are locked for 182 days. How can I and others in the same position as me exit their position on personal DAO to receive their ICP back?
Can you please clarify the status of the funds from the SNS treasury?
This is a critical proposal and is still in the voting period, however the funds from the treasury appear to have been moved only 13 minutes after this proposal was created and subsequently “settled” despite the voting period still being open for another 3 days. How can a critical proposal such as this, a complete treasury drain be implemented only 13 minutes after the proposal was created?

https://ic-toolkit.app/sns-management/izscx-raaaa-aaaaq-aaesq-cai/treasury/tokens
Can you please explain where the funds are that belong to this SNS DAO? It seems the treasury has been transferred to an exchange account (dd15f3040edab88d2e277f9d2fa5cc11616ebf1442279092e37924ab7cce8a74), is this correct?
Where has the treasury gone?
What are the “DAOs plans” for the funds from the treasury?
If the critical majority (67%) of the proposal has already been decided in the first 13 minutes of voting, do the developer neurons (1 person) of this DAO actually control a critical majority of the voting power to so easily drain the treasury?
If this is the case, this was never a DAO to begin with. This vote should have been left for the neuron holders to decide, not decided on by 1 person.
You stated in this proposal -
“I will be conducting $DAO token buybacks for $DAO holders who would like to exit their position. I will purchase $DAO tokens back at the current $DAO market rate of 0.0009934 $USD per 1 $DAO.”
How can people with staked neurons exit their position at the price you said you will be purchasing back tokens and what value do the Personal DAO tokens represent going forward given the treasury has been completely drained?
I would appreciate some clarification here and assistance in exiting my position with my staked neurons.
Thankyou
Really Mr. ICPEE.
You are going to attack a high school math teacher, who raised a modest 10k ICP.
He stated in no uncertain terms the reasons for withdrawing the treasury. To prevent the risk of NNS voters with no voting power in the DAO to pursue legislation which would enable them to control the funds.
Jesse has already contributed plenty here. If you don’t like what he’s doing with the treasury perhaps you should have staked neurons in the DAO.
I’m not attacking anyone, don’t deflect from the facts here.
@jessie stated in the proposal that he would be conducting token buybacks for those who would like to exit their position.
I would like to exit my position and I would like to know how I can do that given that my neurons are locked. I’m sure I’m not the only person in this position so I am seeking clarification on how I and others can do that.
You’re right, I do not like what @jessie is doing with the treasury as he is treating it as though the funds are his. They are not.
As I stated, I would like to exit my position and am seeking clarification on how to do that inline with his statement that he will be “conducting buybacks”.
I would like to know what he plans on doing with the money he has taken from the treasury. This is a reasonable question to ask and I would appreciate you not deflect from it. I asked @jessie the question and would appreciate a response from him as he is making unilateral decisions on a community treasury which now seems to have disappeared.
What he is doing with the funds is not inline with the plan he had for the treasury at the inception of this SNS DAO and when I invested so I have every right to ask these questions given his decision to completely drain the treasury (using apparent critical majority voting power) as well as his statement that he would facilitate those who wish to exit their position.
These are completely reasonable questions to ask and seek clarification on. What’s not ok are projects that continue to siphon money out of the community with no accountability.
@ICPEE you are indeed being a bit dramatic. @Jesse provided sound reasons for the actions he is taking. He even recognized that some folks that are staked might not like it and offered a buyback so you can exit. Maybe spend a little more time reading what he wrote and you won’t have to write such lengthy, dramatic posts that sensationalize what he already addressed.
wouldn’t we all?
The code is the law. The DAO votes.
If you don’t like it, buy the S+P 500.
Hey @jokerswild , at this point it’s just noise — drop the drama and stop flooding the thread.
Begin dissolving your neuron now. Once it has dissolved, reach out to me here to exchange your $DAO to $ckUSDC.
If you don’t mind sharing, how much $DAO will you be exchanging? This information will help me facilitate the buybacks for predictably
Now there’s some customer service.
Thumbs Up Jesse.

Thanks
What we see happening here is scaring us who are yet to decentralise our project, I would like to see doxa evolve for 4years and I have no mind of sunsetting
Hey Jesse, I just came accross this post because I’ve been scrambling to figure out what’s really going on with DAO. I tried reaching out on X but it looks like X has taken your account.
I started buying DAO on March 30th accross 3 wallets and ended up buying a total of 89k DAO.
Since you’re sunsetting the SNS and buying back those DAO tokens, I want to sell mine back to you.
Below are my buys and total DAO balance…
I will send you my PID privately if you’re available on any social platform.
He mentioned earlier in this thread that he can be reached here on the forum. I’m sure you can send a DM as well.
Clearly, @Jesse is not active here. It’s been 6 days now. I also sent him a dm, no reply till now.
Any other way to reach him?
Perhaps on Twitter…
