Pakistan Collaboration Status?
DFINITY
Following the Memorandum of Understanding signed with the Pakistan Digital Authority on February 10, 2026, there has been almost no public information available since then.
Many of us are interested in knowing the current status of the collaboration with Pakistan. We do not need technical details or confidential information, but a brief update confirming that the project is still active and the collaboration is ongoing would be greatly appreciated.
Greater transparency on such an important sovereign cloud initiative would be very helpful to the community.
Thank you in advance for your response!
Bro. Relax. We just passed the proposal for the data centers. Let them work man, and find a hobby.
Whether I find a hobby or not is none of your business!
We, all investors, care about ICP’s development — that’s why we invested.
Accordingly, we ask questions because some investors have suffered losses and we no longer have spare money for entertainment!
You come to my post, which is a question, and write a comment with a full stomach.
Do you bear any responsibility toward investors? If not, then move along and mind your own business!
And if you do bear responsibility toward investors, then write a proper answer in the comment.
Correct — there is no legal responsibility towards DFINITY, and that is exactly why it has a trust problem. The system was designed from the start so that the company would not bear any obligation for investor losses. This means that anyone who puts capital into a neuron is left unprotected. Therefore, anyone planning to invest in a neuron must be prepared to lose everything.
Not our fault you over invested in something with a 20 year roadmap. Again, get a hobby and stop spamming our notifications.
Yeah as far as Pakistan, they are just setting up the nodes and testing them.
It is going to take more time to get fully up and running.
Most likely at least another quarter (3 months) and then I’m assuming they will need to support them with how to deploy using Caffeine and otherwise.
I’m sure it’ll be pretty straightforward via the Caffeine dapp though from what Pierre was quoted saying “You will have the option to deploy to the Pakistan subnet” for example or the “Swiss subnet” etc.
Unfortunately, big ambitious project with no transparency unlike investing in the regular equity market.
No regulations requiring any reporting whatsoever.
We have to hope that this progresses in a timely fashion but this is a real endeavor unlike most of crypto so it’s akin to a small startup.
All we can do is be hopeful and optimistic that this strategy is a winner and we start seeing some serious burn and usage and deployments on the subnets as well as with Cloud Engines.
This year will be telltale as to the future of this strategy.
I already explained to you, what I write is none of your business! I warned you that whether I find a hobby or what I do is not for you to dictate! Find a hobby yourself!!!
It’s everyones business. You made it so. Now as I said on the other thread - pull yourself together.
