Neural is an ongoing project that aims to reimagine Web3 DAO Infrastructure keeping ICP as the centerpiece. It is being developed as a part of WCHL 25, and we would love to hear feedback from the community.
Problems
Non-ICP chains when try to do governance on-chain, end up with many problems:
- Most chains lack the capability to have cost-efficient governance at scale - leading to off-chain solutions popping up.
- Multiple DAOs existing on different chains with different gas currencies: chaos for members.
- No truly cross-chain solution that actually spans across chain ecosystems.
- Disconnect between Governance and Stakeholders.
Our Solution
Neural utilizes ICP’s Chain Fusion Tech to let DAOs on any chain host a Governance Layer. The governance layer comes with native transaction execution support on proposal acceptance, integration with popular multisig wallets and a set of predefined and custom voting strategies.
With ICP, the Governance Layer becomes completely gasless for the user. Moreover, we have developed an in-house login mechanism that combines ICP’s Internet Identity with SIWE and SIWS to provide a unified account to the user with use of VetKeys for full privacy.
Finally, a lot of DAOs thrive on interactions with stakeholders (a popular example - meme DAOs). We have our in-house TEE based Discord and Telegram Bots that bring voting and governance-related actions directly into the user platforms making the entire ecosystem seamless.
Status of The Project
Currently, the parts of the project are developed as PoCs, and we are looking to optimize the product-market fit for our MVP.
