šŸ‘¾ MythBusters - Governance

Yawn. I vote randomly on WaterNeuron to try and show a pathetic defiance towards the unbreachable 51% wall.

@wpb, please stop spreading lies. That is behavior you claim to despise, yet it seems like a bad habit you just can’t break. I really wish you would apply the standards you love to scold everyone else about to your own actions!

Adam invested money into the Neutrinite SNS. Everyone could have reached into their pockets and done the same. Maybe you haven’t looked at what they have released and are currently developing, but it’s actually quite impressive. True DeFi Magic! I recommend that you, and everyone on the forums, check them out.

Neither Adam nor I ā€œfundā€ Anvil or Neutrinite. We haven’t sent them a penny, and they haven’t asked for any either!

Some people do things for reasons other than personal financial gain. I know that’s a strange concept for some, but that is why I’m so passionate about the IC.

It’s a chance for true meritocracy to shine. We just need to get rid of the sewage clogging everything up and making the IC stink.

This statement right here is true. This goes along with every sns that launched. Everyone had a chance.

There is a slight difference though. Adam did use multiple wallets to fund the project. If it crossed the line of the maximum contribution per individual I am unsure of. I see on sns geek and through the nns that ntn had a max of 100k icp per user and adam contributed about 93k icp during the launch. He could have done this all under one wallet.

This does bring the question as to how icpcoins was valued at the time and why he decided to use multiple wallets. Instead of just one wallet. Was this to avoid looking centralized? Or was this just easier at the time for him to do?

During the launch ntn only had a beta of icpcoins. they had not developed anything other than an on chain cmc. Thankfully they developed more than just that and do build cool things. That doesn’t take away the centralization of the dao between three wallets.
