Just to be clear, if you are dead but the IC doesnât know it, ICPs wont be like burned ICP. They are still in the system as a total circulating supply therefore increasing inflation. Only when they are burned will they increase the scarcity and with this the price per unit. Doesnât work like that?
No, you are simply wrong, unless your ICP can be passed to other people.
Iâm so shocked that so many people cannot understand this simple fact:
If you join in the 8-year gang with automatic compounding, never-dissolving, and never-spawning, then you are actually burning ICP everyday.
Few understand this.
How come? The only way to burn ICPs is through Cycles. If not just explan how so the ones like me who doesnât understand how are 8 years staking burning ICP works.
