We’ve been busy these past 3 months. While the team is currently taking a brief pause from shipping at the Multichain ICP lab the Dfinity HQ. We wanted to recap what we’ve delivered this quarter, what remains outstanding, and what you can expect to see on KongSwap in the coming months.
This quarter focused on enhancing KongSwap’s usability with quality-of-life improvements, making the platform more user-friendly for both desktop and mobile users. We launched our prediction markets platform, where users can predict various outcomes, and introduced a fiat onramp for topping up gong accounts. We also significantly improved our analytics and data handling to ensure a fast, seamless user experience. Overall we took the platform to the next level in terms of usability, information and features available to the users around their swapping and prediction market activities.
The focus on the next quarter will be on multichain trading and increasing the efficiency of liquidity usage on the Kongswap platform. In addition we are close to launching more earn related features that will give our users even more variety in their trading activities.

What we are currently working on and plans for Q2:
Our current development activities focus on multichain expansion. The first protocol we’ll natively support on KongSwap will be Solana. Along with protocol and SPL token support, we’ll integrate the Phantom wallet into our current stack of ICP wallets. Our second focus is launching Predict AI—a system similar to prediction markets but tailored to individual price predictions where users can earn yield. Our third work-in-progress involves partnering with data aggregators to support Kong. While this process depends partly on the aggregators’ integration speeds, we’re working diligently to make Kong available across all platforms. Looking ahead to next quarter, we’re prioritizing single-sided liquidity and limit orders. These features will help us use KongSwap’s TVL more efficiently and potentially attract more liquidity providers.

What we promissed in the beginning of the year:
This was our plan of delivery for Q1 2025: NNS Dapp. We delivered most of our planned items, though we paused lending markets, staking pools, and farming in favor of shipping Prediction Markets and Airdrops. We’ll reassess these features in Q2 based on market fit and our ability to ensure sufficient liquidity for a quality user experience. Additionally, our referrals program is nearly complete—the backend work is finished, and we expect to ship this feature in 3-4 weeks.
