Is there an issue with ICP and Ledger?

I cannot sign any transactions and it was fine 5 days ago? Is there an issue? I just get “access denied to use the ledger device”.

Both on a MacBook with Chrome and Opera

And on Windows with edge, chrome and Opera

I’m having the same issue on Linux with Google Chrome. It also gives me the “access denied” message when I try to adjust hotkeys, spawn neuron, etc. I think it has something to do with the Ledger Live upgrade as well as the NNS update that shows ‘vote delegation’. Ledger live also had an update, so i’m wondering if that is it. Fwiw, i’m using a ledger nano s+.

That’s good to know, I was panicking.

I’m pretty sure this is a system issue now, I can’t even connect a new Ledger in NNS.

I’m in the same situation. I kindly ask for your investigation on this matter.
I would like to ask the DFINITY team:
If, in the future, LEDGER were to terminate its services, would it become impossible to dissolve neurons controlled via LEDGER or to claim ICP from voting rewards?
I’m accumulating little by little through DCA, so I’m quite concerned.
I would greatly appreciate your response.

Hi @GSWfan

We have identified the issue and are working on a fix. In summary, the problem stems from a security change in the nns-dapp that whitelists browser APIs, and the necessary ones for the ledger are missing.

same issue for me.

I have Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS

Ledger S Plus - v1.3.2

Internet Computer app v3.1.1

It used to work fine before I updated the firmware and the app. Haven’t tried in 2 weeks or so until yesterday.

Now when I try to use it I get the following error: Access denied to use the ledger device.
