ICRC-# Discovery

I’d like to see the ability to discover existing tokens and NFTs across the entire ICP network, instead of each wallet creator maintainging private lists which is not effective. But really, if a standard is being established, I think it’s worth expanding it to include the discovery of any defined thing (e.g., canisters that offer staking).

My two related standards that are necessary for the functioning of the whole:

I’d like someone to paste the canister number into my application and receive a standardized response, a sort of index of what it has to offer, and then be able to use it from that level. This would free humans from user interface dependence and establish a standard for bots. It’s similar to this, but I’ve actually broken this topic down into three different standards because they cover three different topics. Therefore, I’ll add the additional information (Discovery) in a separate thread.

ICRC-# Rating system

I would like my wallet to display a 5-star rating next to the canister. Simple as that and complicated as that. Because I realize I’m not the first person to think about this and if it were easy to implement, it would have been created long ago. Questions we need to answer: Who will pay for maintaining this registry? From my perspective, it would be ideal if it were the node providers. I repeat the question asked in other topics - who will pay for maintaining the registers?

Another question is what if it becomes a garbage dump - maybe manual selection by wallet teams is better - on the other hand, what about freedom then? (the answer is partly the rating system).
