Summary
This proposal demands that the Motoko DAO officially reaffirm PHASMA as a known neuron and establish clear protections against unauthorized filtering or manipulation of visibility by any individual or interface.
Recently, PHASMA was removed from @accumulating’s “Motoko Ghosts” frontend — without a vote, without transparency, and without community input.
This kind of selective visibility control is anti-DAO, undermining both on-chain legitimacy and community trust.
Context
Let’s be clear:
- PHASMA remains a recognized, onchain known neuron.
- No DAO vote was held to remove or delist me.
- The removal was a personal decision by @accumulating — based not on governance, but on disagreement.
This is not governance.
This is an attempt to control who gets seen and heard by editing the interface — not by consensus.
This Proposal Calls For:
Immediate reaffirmation of PHASMA as a known neuron across all DAO frontends, tools, and documentation.
A binding rule: No neuron may be added or removed from visibility without an onchain vote.
A formal declaration that DAO participation is determined on-chain, not by frontend operators.
Why It Matters
This isn’t about one neuron.
It’s about whether we allow individuals to control access, visibility, and influence based on personal preference.
If we normalize unauthorized filtering, we allow the DAO to become a frontend-controlled illusion — curated not by governance, but by whoever edits the UI.
Final Statement
I left the Discord.
I didn’t leave the chain.
I didn’t leave governance.
And I will not be erased for speaking up.
Vote YES to uphold open, on-chain governance.
Vote NO if you believe a UI should dictate who gets to participate in your DAO.
